Excellent location! Walking distance to main attractions. Comfortable bed & quiet at night (February). Although it had no lift, helpful staff carried big suitcase to 2nd floor. A young man from Sri Lanka was very resourceful and helped me solve a problem and overcome language barriers with the staff who only spoke French

Most of the staff, particularly the young girls during the day, didn't speak a word of English and didn't make the smallest effort to try to understand what was said, not even using Google translate... If you work in a hotel with tourists you MUST speak some English or make the effort and use a translator. I've never seen such level of laziness to serve passengers in any other hotel around the world! (this applies only to the young women, not the men)

Breakfast, location, and staff was amazing. Well worth the breakfast. Good internet available. Nice clean room and ample bathroom. Nice soft towels. As past hotel managers we always gave our guests and upgrade if there were unsold rooms to give them the best experience.

Plastic cups that were provided. We prefer a safer ceramic stable mug for our tea and coffee. A tea towel would be good for drying our cups.

Wonderful location, quite central, main attractions and restaurants nearby and all can be reached on foot. Comfortable in general. And Friendly staff. Simple but nice breakfast. Good value for money.

Missing information: there is no elevator, difficult to handle with smaller children. The street is closed in fact, we need to ask access to the guard which went well on check-out but not on check-in as guard was not visible. Parking nearby 29 Eur / day . Found it expensive

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Danieli. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel itself offered everything we could wish for. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good choice of breakfast foods in the modern stylish dining room. The hotel was located in a beautiful building situated in a central position on the Rue de la Republique. It was very convenient for all the tourist attractions in the city as well as the shops, restaurants, the tourist office and the railway and bus station. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the beautiful city of Avignon.

Location is very central. Close to station.close to the tourist center from where most tours start. Also in front of a Michelin star restaurant. Staff was nice and room was clean. Room was spacious.

Didn't like the room much. Bed was not comfortable. The room carpet was very old. Shower stall was leaky there was water everywhere had to use towels to prevent it going in to the room. The room looked like it's very old and hadn't been upgraded since 90s.

Breakfast very good, as were the staff. A problem in our room was fixed immediately and to our complete satisfaction. In view of our complete lack of French the staff went out of their way to ensure they understood our needs. Hotel and staff rate 110% from us

I liked the location, it's super central, everything is clise to this place. Bathroom was very ok, clean and had spacious. The room had comfy beds and it was clean. The room was very basic but for this price I could not get more. Staff speak english which is an advantage.

Very helpful staff. Held our luggage in reception for us while we negotiated the traffic to the car park at Pape de Palais which is the main parking available in the centre of the city. Location is excellent if you only have 1 day like us and want to be efficient. It is basic but value for money.

If travelling alone by car, park outside with hazard lights on while you check in so you don't have to drag your luggage through the streets.

Great position, straight out of front door of Railway station along main street, past two supermarkets and not far away from papal palace and many cafes and restaurants close by.

Most rooms face on to back laneway and the nightclub that starts at midnight and goes to 5 a.m. a few nights each week. Sound proof windows did not help! Take earplugs!

Staff was good. Breakfast was nice. AC worked well. Rooms variable regarding bathrooms. ours had a tub/shower combo but the half size glass door allowed water to escape and the floor was very wet and slippery. Queen bed seemed more like a double. The bottom line, however, is that this was an extremely reasonable rate and for the money it was an excellent value.

there is no lift and the rooms are 2 and 3 floors up. lugging bags was a challenge. We parked at Les Halles parking garage for 17.50 euros per day. it can be very busy and full. walk to hotel from parking was about 10 minutes but it was fine.
