I was really happy with this little hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great. Easy walking distance from the train station and easy walking to all the sites and restaurants. Perfect. Our room was small, as are all European hotel rooms, but very clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for a great price. The aircon worked and the water was hot. The shower is handheld which was a little weird for us but no biggie. Breakfast is available but we didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. The breakfast room looked really nice though.

Nothing. They have cats in reception which might put some off but it did not bother us. They are cute cats.

The hotel was centrally located in the heart of Avignon, with many sightseeing spots and restaurants within walking distance. It was also less than a 10-minute walk from the train station. If you're arriving by car, accessing the hotel can be a bit tricky, as the road directly in front of it is restricted to permitted local residents and commercial vehicles. However, you can park about 10 meters (30 feet) from the hotel entrance, across the road. During my stay, we were welcomed by three beautiful, friendly cats. The hotel manager didn’t speak fluent English, but he was warm and friendly, and he took the time to point out sightseeing spots, restaurants, and shopping areas on the town map. Contrary to my expectations, the room was quite spacious and, of course, very clean. Although there wasn’t a bathtub, the bathroom was still large.

Honestly, I felt the hotel breakfast wasn’t quite worth the price. I’d recommend eating at one of the many nearby restaurants or cafes instead. Also, be aware that (I think) the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so bringing large, heavy bags could be challenging.

I had to book this hotel at the last minute after a TGV cancellation. The owner was very welcoming and responsive. He replied to my email asking if I could leave my luggage on arrival and, when I did arrive, seemed to have all the time in the world to welcome me, give me a map, point out the main things and even suggested a great walk using the free boat in order to the see the famous bridge from the other side of the river. The room was perfect. Low ceilings and stairs up to it (but I was already aware of this) were not a problem. The bed was comfy, the bathroom had everything that one would expect in a bathroom and the air conditioning was really welcome. The breakfast was a pretty standard French one: coffee, bread, croissants, egg, cheese etc and is very good value. The owner is very nice and very interested in his guests and their experience in Avignon. Next time, I will deliberately plan to come to this city (I left feeling I'd hardly seen anything!) and I will definitely stay here.

This hotel is perfectly located just one street behind the Tourist info and the nearby Irish Pub (if that's your thing!). Walking distance to the main sights of Avignon. Also our wine tour left from the Tourist Info office, so again extremely close.

Parking is not onsite and also has height restrictions which meant we could not use it, but the host was helpfully able to suggest another park about 20 mins walk away that was free (although not secure). However, our car was fine and we left it there for two nights. If you have mobility issues, the stairs to get to your room may be challenging.

Nice city, nice location and a very friendly host! It is a typical French cosy family hotel, breakfast is good.

We love cats - but if you do not like them, do not book. There are 3 cats in the hotel walking around, one is really huge. Again, not a problem for us, but can imagine not everyone will like it. Drawback is parking: parking is very difficult, there is the option to park in a garage but takes 5-10 minutes walk with your stuff so that was not very convenient. If you park somewhere in the streets you have the same issue: it is quite some walking.

the staff was very helpful in orienting us and gave us a wonderful and precise overview over nearby sites. The adorable cats in the entrance were eyecandy. The room was nice, as was the bathroom.

Excellent location - close to the center of Avignon but on a side street so it was quiet. The place and rooms were very clean and new.

Our bathroom and shower were very small. We are used to small bathrooms in Europe, but it was very tight. Not a huge deal but it made showering a challenge

A very old, comfortable, small, charming hotel in the heart of old Avignon. The location was ideal for exploring the sights. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived, offered a map and detailed information about the local area, including advice on places of interest to visit and restaurants. This made us feel valued and relaxed. The restaurant recommendations were excellent, we ate well. The room was comfortable and very clean, the bathroom was small but clean and adequate for a few nights stay.

Although there were a few options for breakfast there was nothing to accommodate my food intolerances. This is not unusual in a hotel of this size.

This hotel is in a great location, in easy walking distance not only to the trains, buses and taxis, but also to museums, the market and other highlights. The owner/host is very knowledgeable and informative. He provided excellent information about opening times, how the transport system works, and places to see. It is very comfortable and the beds are good

The room had everything you need, including air conditioning. The shower was great, the beds were fine, and the lighting was good. The hotel location is perfect. You can easily walk from Avignon Centre train station, and then from the hotel you can easily walk to the rest of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Wifi wasn't great from our room, but you're probably doing other things in the city!
