The reception staff were excellent and spoke English when our French petered out. The room was as described so no surprises there. It is student accommodation during term time. The flatlet had all that we expected - we knew there was a separate laundry room with coin-operated machines if needed. Our particular room was in full sun but there is air con. The kitchenette had a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and a two-ring hob, so enough for heating up or basic cooking. There were some pots and pans, plenty of crockery and glasses, but only cutlery, with no cooking utensils that I can recall. Could be wrong but we didn't cook there (too hot, and a fab Thai place around the corner was too tempting). There was a courtyard garden available with lots of seating, and during reception hours you could buy a cold can of drink. The room was quiet at night but we were not there during their most busy period. The location is excellent, just inside the old town walls, and fairly close to the transport hub: bus station (inside a building so not obvious), the many town bus stops, and the railway station. We were able to catch the bus to Pont du Gard from the bus station. If we return to Avignon we'd certainly stay here again.

One teaspoon seemed a bit mean! If staying longer we would have asked for another one.

Location is close to the train station (Avignon Centre) and it is inside the city walls. It is spacious, on the ground floor, and has kitchen facilities. While I did not use the laundromat, this would be convenient for travellers on long trips.

Because the shower cubicle is not very big, the shower curtain keeps clinging on me when I take a shower. Not sure how often the shower curtains are thoroughly cleaned if this clings on to different guests. Note the opening and closing times of the reception. If you need to leave your bags for storage for your last day, they only open at 9am while I was there during weekdays(unsure if this is different for weekdays/ weekends/ seasons). The morning and day tours that I have gone on seem to start between 8.30-9am so if this is on your last day, best to check timings.

We could walk to the attractions in the old town and it wasn’t too far to walk to the train station. The room was spacious, on the ground floor, in a quiet area with good security. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a fridge and a Microwave, and a kitchen table with comfortable chairs. Bed linens and towels were very nice. I would happily stay there again if I ever return to Avignon.

The location of this Residence Les Cordeliers is within the medieval town walls of Avignon. The place is basic, with a small kitchenette and fridregator, toilet & shower room, good bed with well maintained bedclothes and linen. A very clean place. For the winter time visitors: air-conditioning is warming the room with the temperature as you prefer. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Great location and large room. Easy to access and good parking facilities.

Our room looked a bit tired and in need of some upgrade. I understand this property function also as students’ accomodation most of the year, it would be good to have some renovation in the room done to give a better overall feel to the place.

A perfect location within the walls of Avignon but just far enough away from the centre - 12 minute walk from the Palais des Papes and all the terrace restaurants. Léa, at Reception, was most welcoming and precise in her explanations of keycard etc. Bus C2 for Le Pontet (stop Le Lac) to get a Flixbus is a stone's throw away... Highly recommended for its calm.

This is our second stay at the Résidence Les Cordeliers. We spent a week here last year in the spring. We were impressed then and remain impressed. Great value for money. Clean, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchenette was also well kitted out for simple self catering. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We expect to visit again.

Nothing. For the price, the accommodation is excellent.

Convenient, secure, and professional residence with multiple rooms in different building blocks. The room was quiet, with excellent air conditioning. Service at reception was fantastic. Would be great for holidayers that are driving or cycling.

The toilet was loose on floor with an old temporary fix in place. The shower temperature was on the cooler side.

It was very clean. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a little sitting area in the studio. The AC worked well and the kitchenette was well supplied. The location was within walking distance to the station and in a quiet area. It was a lovely walk into the centre along pretty streets. It was great to have laundry facilities too! All staff were friendly and helpful.
