Location was great and room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

Very stingy on the toilet paper - had to ask 3 times to have an extra roll. Breakfast was decent - not many hot options. Often ran out of things.

The room was very spacious, staff were lovely and very helpful, location was fantastic, close to all restaurants, attractions, hoo on and off bus right across the street

Room was slightly too warm for us

Staff- really helpful, particularly the hotel director who was extremely sympathetic regarding the fact I lost 477 euros from being unable to arrive at the hotel on 8 July due to the cancellation of all trains from Paris, due to the wildfire in the Marseille area. Unfortunately as the booking was made through booking.com the hotel was unable to reimburse the cost of the lost night.

2 nights were not long enough ! Due to the wildfire and the subsequent cancellation of all trains from Paris it was impossible to get to Avignon on the 8th July. We had left Scotland at 10am on Tuesday 8 July, arrived Paris CDG around 2pm- due to arrive in Avignon at 9pm that evening. We arrived 3pm the next day - 9 July - as we were forced to stay overnight in Paris- at our own expense.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the railway station in a lovely tree lined road with lots of cafés. Surprisingly quiet location and very attractive. On arrival the receptionist was super friendly and helpful and apparently I had been upgraded - for no obvious reason! The hotel was lovely and cool, bearing in mind it was 38° outside! My room was wonderful - very clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful, if a little chaotic and the breakfast room/public lounge area is really cosy and attractive.

There is a coffee maker in the room but as I am a tea drinker, I was disappointed with the way I had to make tea. It wasn't great.

On Friday night there was somebody working at the front desk who was not very nice and actually acted a bit frustrated my air condition didn’t work. Another lady from Argentina was complaining about something and he really did treat us very well everybody else that I encountered at the front desk was wonderful. I asked to have a mat for the bathroom and they gave me that and the location is great. I didn’t eat breakfast and I didn’t know parking so I don’t need anything about that. There were some steps which were not noted at the hotel. I think it would be nice if that was included in the description of the hotel for people who are older, and don’t like steps like me.

The Internet didn’t work very well after 10 o’clock slippery shower. But they gave me a mat.

The hotel is located straight out from the train station, just a block away. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast had a good selection; hot foods, breads, grains, cheese, fruits and yogurts. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious and the bed and pillows just right. They had spare pillows in our room, so we could pick a different firmness.

We couldn't seem to get our room to cool down, we tried adjusting the thermostat but that didn't work, so we would open up the windows and that helped, but it was always a little too warm for us.

The staff was very friendly and I very much appreciated the obviously recently renovated bathroom. I could tell that it was upgraded in the not too distant past, and they provided a beautiful rainforest showerhead along with a hand held showerhead, and it was a real luxury taking a shower every night. The hotel I had just come from in Amsterdam left lots to be desired in that department so it was really nice to arrive in at this hotel and have such a wonderful shower experience! Sounds silly, but important to some of us. In addition, the room was quite clean and well-maintained and for the most part the hotel was very quiet even though my room was on the main street. I heard almost nothing. I just wish the towels were a little more plush.

The breakfast selection left a little to be desired, but that’s just me. One or two mornings the scrambled eggs were not warm enough and the fruit salad seemed to come out of a can. But the dining setting is low-key and very pleasant.

Steps into lobby from street and from lift to room add difficulties for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues Although the room appeared to have been recently refurbished, some of the new decor seemed already to be coming undone

The room comes with a large toilet and a heater-bars that we can warm our clothings and towel. The Hotel is a short walk (<10min) from Avignon bus/train station, along the central street. It is near the edge of the old town so you can do your walk around of the town. Breakfast lots of choice of bread and cake, otherwise is standard.

There is no ramp at the entrance and within the hotel, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A fleet of stair before the entrance and after the entrance before the front desk, and stairs before you can access your lift. Depends on the floor/room, you still have a few stairs before you reach your room, out from the lift. Good exercise.

The hotel was centrally situated to the railway station and Avignon centre. The hotel was clean and boasted a beautiful entrance. The staff at the hotel. were friendly, helpful and they all spoke English. Our room was large and had a lovely balcony.The bed was king size plus and extremely comfortable. We had coffee and tea making facilities and a clean, ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was included in our package. We could choose from an ample buffet and a choice of deicious hot food. We thoroughly recommend a stay in this hotel.
