Superb hotel in the heart of Avignon. As you arrive by car, your heart skips a beat. This is the French idyll. Beautiful. You roll up, your keys are taken and Patrick sweeps into gear, parking the car securely nearby and organising the bags to your room. Merci Patrick and Nina on reception. The staff are brilliant and this historic hotel is a delight. The bed is enormous and everything has just been thought out so well in terms of keeping customers as happy and as well served as possible. Two great days here. An absolute treat.

The hotel has TERRIBLE neighbors that play VERY loud music all night. For such a beautiful hotel at this level, it’s a true shame that the neighbors play their music so loud.

This place is pure heaven! The hotel’s beautiful architecture and charming old-times vibe create a truly special atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. With a lovely bar and restaurant on site, everything you need is right there. The town itself is full of positive energy—perfect for recharging your spirit. The food was absolutely amazing. I only wish we could have stayed longer than just two nights!

Our stay was amazing

location is very close to downtown but still far enough for quietness. Room size is ok and clean. This a vintage hotel therefore do not expect anything fancy in the room besides the bathroom.

the breakfast could be better if it comes with more selection. Even it says a buffet but omelet needs to pay for it. The staff of check in counter can be more friendly and smile on their face.

Superb location. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast, but it could be a bit more varied. The garden at the entrance is a good place for cocktails. Valet parking is a great relief after you have found the hotel.

The wifi was a bit unstable in our room. Soundproofing was not very efficient, both for external and internal/mainly door slaming and vacuum cleaning/ noises.

The hotel is very well located, has a historic feel to it. The room was small, but well decorated and appointed and very modern. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Be mindful of how much things cost in a hotel bar and also the extortionate cost of breakfast especially given that it was probably the worst breakfast we had in France on our 2 weeks road trip.

HUGE room in the center of Avignon - I felt like a queen! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and very spacious bathroom. Hotel was gorgeous and historic - I'm so glad I stayed here instead of at a chain. I requested a quiet room and thanks to the double paned windows they delivered. I could tell the difference immediately when I opened the windows in the morning. So great job with the soundproofing!

Very good staff especially the night staff working on oct 28-nov2 the polish woman & the French & Ralph from Philippines who were very helpful & knowledgeable about the places to go . Dinner at the restaurant of hotel was really good price reasonable

Great old character with hint of modern facilities. We stayed in the junior suite with balcony. If you are looking for high end modern then give this hotel a miss. The beauty lies within the ancient history of this building. The courtyard was a welcomed retreat from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. Car parking was convenient by the concierge. Cost of parking is what you would expect from a hotel of the quality. Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Situated in an excellent position to easily visit all the sites of Avignon.

A beautiful, traditional hotel with a central location and excellent valet parking. Relaxed breakfast in the peaceful courtyard and a great selection to enjoy in a relaxed and beautiful setting. A perfecrt stay for 2 nights to see the sites of Avignon on a stop over to the South of France.
