A lovely apartment for anyone looking to stay in a quiet area of central Avignon. The host was very kind and helpful, even with the issues I unintentionally caused. I truly enjoyed my stay — thank you!

It’s a loft studio with the toilet on the first floor and the bed on the second. It can be a bit inconvenient having to go downstairs to use the toilet at night. Having a shower right next to the bed is a bit unusual.

The studio was lovely and very good size. It's in an old building in a small alley in the center of Avignon but looks beautifully renovated. At night it was surprisingly quiet enough. Had everything I needed for a short stay (3 nights). The sofa bed was comfortable although a bit squeaky. The location was great, central and 5 mins walk to the Palais. There are some nice backeries and supermarkets very close by as well as the indoor market. The owner was very responsive and easy to reach out, and the check in went very smooth.

The small alley where the the studio is located needed some proper cleaning.

Appartement very smartly renovated/ newly constructed making efficient use of the existing structure (however we didn’t use half of the available space); everything was made with love and craftsmanship. We hope next guests will respect the quality and take proper care of the facility. Host was very friendly and welcoming; bouquet of fresh Calla lilies; quality/price ratio super. Good linens/towels; coffee/tea/chocolates available

Some unavoidable drawbacks: lack of natural light, many little steps and corners

The apartment was great. It is in the old walled city in Avignon so we were able to walk everywhere. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the bus and train station. The apartment was very clean . There was tea , coffee etc at the apartment. Supermarket just around the corner. They had made great use of a small space.

Everything was great. As they state in the description of the apartment it has stairs. Not suitable for mobility impaired or children.

Very helpful, and most welcoming hosts. Property is in an alley way, on street level, and has 3 floors - (1) ground floor, where the kitchenette, work bench, fridge and kitchen appliances are, with a step down to the toilet; (2) mezzanine floor, where the bed, shower stall, and sink are, and (3) basement, where the lounge is. Tastefully decorated one could tell a lot of care has been taken to provide all the comfort creatures of home. Julie the hostess who met us at the door was very friendly, and took the trouble to point us in the right direction to places of interest which were all in close proximity - Les Halles, Papal Palace, Bridge of Benezet etc. She also very kindly booked a taxi pick up for the next morning ensuring we wait at the right spot.

Much as we liked the property in terms of cleanliness, helpful hosts, regrettably the property being on 3 levels, has a very tight floor space (the landing area going down to the basement is about the only space in the apartment where we could open our suitcases. Access to the mini fridge and kitchen appliances requires the chair in front of them to be moved away! The comfortable double bed is on the mezzanine floor with an exposed stairs to get up to it. In one corner is a clear glass shower stall which offers no privacy at all.

Everything is perfect! Location is the best for all famous sightseeing. Many nice restaurants nearby. Stylish decorations really enrich our stay especially with this fully equipped house. Sparkling clean too. Big recommendation of Thomas' kind help and advice. He takes great care of all the details during our stay and makes ourselves feel at home. We would love to come back if next time in Avignon.

We rented the Studio for three nights, consisting of a single room containing a kitchenette with a pull out sofa and en-suite bathroom. The presentation was elegant and high quality and well-appointed on all levels. It is rare to find excellent accommodation for such a good price. We were really impressed.

It would be difficult to come up the narrow staircase to first floor (24 steps) with a large suitcase. Pack small!

Julie and Thomas sought out contact right after booking the accomodation and provided helpful information. We were greeted and brought into our room and were provided with a really good restaurant recommendation. The apartment is located in a pedestrian only area and all touristic attraction are within walking distance. The studio was charming, clean and a sufficient size for 2 people. Would certainly recommend and book again.

This was a really terrific place to stay in and I would highly recommend it. It’s right in the centre of Avignon, a few metres from the main areas. Within 10-15 mins walk from the train station and shops. Very clean inside, and felt very private. Easy check in process with a lockbox. Everything worked well - the shower was good, and the kitchen was adequately equipped (I managed to cook twice during my stay). Wifi was good. Aircon works well. Sofa bed was comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with as well. I would definitely stay here again if I was to come back to Avignon.

Amazing place - I have no criticisms.

The Nicholas and Julie were fantastic hosts. The Travertin is quite bike friendly. In fact, Nicholas put my bike on his work stand to adjust the back derailleur! He also sent me a GPX file with his proposed route to depart Avignon. The apartment was quite spacious and clean, although furnished quite simply. The Travertin is perfectly located to explore Avignon. It also represents excellent value for money.
