Fabulous warm welcome by Yoann upon arrival, great communication from the team on email prior to arrival as well. I enquired about parking and they sent clear instructions on where to go, also clear instructions once you enter the car park about which level to park on depending on which Mercure you’re staying in. Short walk from the parking to the hotel. It couldn’t be more perfectly located. Bed comfortable, shower hot and powerful

Hotel is a bit tired but you’re in Avignon so most of your day is spent outside.

Being close to the town centre it did get a bit noisy in the mornings when everyone was waking up and kids were going to school! But that's only a minor issue compared to all the other benefits. Also parking is available at €16 overnight (after 20% discount from hotel) but like most carparks in France, it is tight for large cars! But convenience of having a carpark so close and in that location outweighs the negative!

We love the location of this property, which is in the main Square and just beside the Palais Des Papes. It is so convenient to reach from the train station and everything is close at hand. We received an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the main square. What a generous upgrade to provide us with, and it left us with wonderful lasting memories.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent location, right next to Palais des Papes, just a 2 minute walk from the parking. Staff were super helpful and check in was swift. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The was a great choice at breakfast, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The directions given to me to enter into the GPS couldn’t be found on my GPS, however we did stop and ask somebody and found the parking, the fridge in our room wasn’t working but as we only stayed one night we were not that bothered.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed there and the 2nd time the fridge in the room doesn’t work. It’s plugged in but doesn’t get cold so no use whatsoever.

The breakfast buffet at this hotel was among the best I've ever had. The variety, quality, and taste were all exceptional, ranking 5 stars and in the gourmet category.

It was difficult to find the hotel as the names of three hotels in the area are VERY similar, and instructions received sent us to another hotel. The room was tight.

Good location, staff were really friendly. I could only get a twin room, but they very kindly made it into a double for me.

Not great options for breakfast (personal taste) and I think they tried to charge me for the room twice. This did get resolved though

The location was excellent. Right in the middle of the city. Nice room with a balcony and a view over the square. Excellent air conditioning...if a little noisy!

There was no communal area. This would have been really useful in the evening and daytime. Had I known I would probably have stayed at the other Mercure in the city. However, it looks as this is being rectified by work being done.

Good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff. Good central location. Good bathroom products.

The underground parking is practical for an old town, being a public parking, 2-3 minute walking distance away. Not ideal but likely hard to work around.

The location was convenient to restaurants, shops, and train station. The room for six nights was comfortable.

Everything was good.
