This hotel is delightful. It was an unexpected stay on the road between Spain and Belgium and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Super friendly and kind staff, beautiful spacious room, very charming decorated, excellent bathtub and bathroom with fantastic smelling soaps, very clean too. And it was very well heated, we even had to turn it down a little. The garden is beautiful, and at night they turn on candles in the garden which gives a stunning view. When you walk into the town its like a small fairytale. Small town but very very beautiful and well kept.

It’s a very nice location, free parking. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good, with local charcuterie, cheese, cake, … Would stay here again!

There were a few details that would have made the experience better: the temperature of the water in the shower was quite unstable, room decor could have been better finished (e.g. airco connection was badly covered in the wall), bathroom had a bit of a rundown feeling, especially the shower and the lights in the breakfast room definitely need to be higher (we bumped our heads at least 5 times during breakfast).

It was like living in a country castle. The pool is wonderful and refreshing. The rooms were large and comfortable

Breakfast was at another location on that day and we weren’t told. They ended up walking us there.

We’ve stayed before and will definitely stay again. Love the decor, location and everything about it

I felt our bathroom was a little tired and could do with updating. Just a couple of tiny tiles missing, which is hardly a big deal…but that’s the only fault I could find!

I arrived late with no food booked, lady helped and telephoned around for me which was lovely.. small things but super nice.. will return..

We weren’t informing that the restaurant of the hotel would not be open during our stay. There was no option to buy anything to drink or eat at the hotel. The second day way left one night early. As there was still no option to eat at the hotel restaurant. We were so disappointed. The rooms were ok but old fashioned..some cobwebs but clean. In our opinion the mattress of the bed is way too soft. Furthermore the reception wasn’t occupied and we always had to call the sister hotel.

no lift. reception unmanned for most of stay. Advertised restaurant closed on Sunday. paid for breakfast but needed 5 minute walk to another hotel for breakfast. breakfast poor value at€18 for crossant/bread. dog stay €25 per dog: excessive charge.
