The hotel is great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is very friendly and spoke English well. My kids would swim in the pool all day if they could! And the view from the hot tub is great. The snack bar menu had plenty of options and was a great option during siesta times or when we didn’t feel like going into town. We would love to come back.

Great room, we had the studio highly recommended for families. Stuff was very friendly, heated pool at 25C. The hotel also had a kids outdoor play area which was highly appreciated. Great breakfast as well! The hotel is next to Colliure a picturesque village a must visit! (we took a taxi from the hotel only 17-18€, difficult to park in the center of the village )

The room did have blinds on the inside but not on the outside which meant there was a bit too much light in the morning.

The hotel is easy to find from the coast road (corniche) between Argeles and the pretty port of Collioure and has plenty of shady parking. There is a beautiful view of the sea towards Argeles sur Mer and a lovely pool and sauna on the terrace, again, with nice views. The breakfast was very good and there is an all-day snack service.

There is no evening dining but the nearby port of Argeles has a plethora of restaurants.

My kids loved the playground, the heated pool and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was outstanding, the room ideal for a family of 4 and the team were really nice and helpful

It would have been ideal if some light dinner was offered. The hotel is outside town, and with kids it was a bit more challenging to drive out under the rain to have some dinner

Enjoyed the swimming pool and adjacent jacuzzi with excellent views of the sea. Our room also had a balcony overlooking the sea which added to the experience. Generous size room. Varied breakfast and nice to eat by pool.

It does take some effort to walk from the hotel to the beach. You have to walk through the next hotel grounds and under the road and small railway. We could also have driven a few minutes and parked so not a problem really. The nearest little coves are a bit stoney but perfectly good and then the one you can drive to or walk if you are energetic called Le Ragou is sandy and attractive. No restaurant just a very limited snack offer. I expect you can eat in the next hotel but didn’t ourselves as only two night stay.

Great location, fabulous views & great breakfast & great coffee . Helpful & unobtrusive staff who all work very hard discreetly to keep it beautifully clean & comfortable. Love this place have been going for many years -it’s a little gem!

I guess somewhere to have simple dinner so that when you’re tired you don’t have to go into Colioure again ! Although Collioure restaurants & location are fab. But they do a taxi booking service so you can easily get to & from Collioure .

The staff at this hotel are amazing- kind, patient and extremely helpful at all times. We loved the pool and the bedrooms were super comfortable. Excellent breakfast and just fabulous to sit out on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Needs a little poolside and ground maintenance - the detail. Sweep the poolside/outdoor area, fix or replace the tiki umbrellas.

We stayed as a family of 4 at Les Mouettes for 14 nights and enjoyed every minute we were there. We booked a family room with a garden view, which was perfect and very quiet. The gardens are very well maintained too. As the hotel is on a hillside the views (and sunsets) are wonderful down to the sea and the beaches of La Racou. As it's not in the town itself it's quiet and away from the crowds. Staff were relaxed, attentive and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was a firm favourite and I fully recommend you select it with your booking. The pool is great and the hot tub is just icing on the cake. Sitting in it with the view of sea and the blue sky above is very decadent! Our room was attended to each day and a special thanks to the cleaning staff who were amazingly thorough and quick (I lost an earbud in the bed sheets and it was found and carefully placed on my bedside table!) Some things to be aware of; the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant but does offer a good menu of preprepared snacks for when you don't fancy venturing out. The cheese and charcuterie platters (with a bottle of local rosé wine) were our favourites! We didn't have a car so access the beach and the nearby restaurants was about a 15 minute walk along the coastal path and over a small hill but it's worth it. The beach is superb and the sea is perfect for swimming. Just be prepared if it's a hot day (we did the walk nearly everyday and we were definitely fitter by the end of our stay). We used the taxi firm recommended by the hotel when we wanted to go further out and we got to know our driver very well during our stay. The majority of guests seem to only stay for a day or two on their way along the coast so some days the hotel appears blissfully quiet and other days it can get a bit busier but never crowded. I was always able to find a quiet spot to myself and there are enough poolside loungers for all.

Mosquitos can be a problem in this general part of the country so do pack some repellant.

Fantastic hotel and staff are great. Very good breakfast selection and decent snack bar for quick bites at lunch or in the evening. Room was perfect, modern and clean.

You need a car to travel to get evening meals at either Racou or the beach. Shame there’s not a shuttle or a walking route however they do make it clear on their website, so cannot complain.
