Wonderful start to our holiday. Chosen as overnight stop due to its proximity to A10 autoroute but beautiful c h ateau in fantastic location. Comfortable rooms for family of five. Rooms had wifi and en suite. Swimming pool open until 9pm. Parking in grounds for car with roofbox. There is no restaurant but a short walk into Esvres where there are shops and pizzeria. Warm reception from Emmanuel and his wife and fantastic breakfast with homemade jams. Look forward to a return visit

Charming chateau/ B&B with beautiful garden and nice swimming pool. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Spacious (family) room with garden view. Easy parking and close to restaurants and shopping mall.

The chateau is really stunning, immersed in what were 200ha of woods belonging to Emmanuel's family. He still has "only" 20 :). We stayed in the duplex which is perfect for a large family. Breakfast is great with tables all set with fine crockery and cutlery and table cloths! The home made jams are the icing on the cake! Nice sized pool. The kids enjoyed it. Highly recommended a walk in the garden and park with the creek and the little lake, just so relaxing and beautiful

Nothing really but you need to get used to a very laid back approach which may not suit everyone. A little bit more daily attention to the area surrounding the pool (the kitchen and the covered table area)

Emmanuelle and his wife were excellent hosts, very warm, caring, and helpful. The chateau is in the midst of the small town of Esvres ,a perfect location to experience the Loire valley ...with over 40 historical chateau, vineyards and there are some excellent restaurants nearby.

Beautiful place to stay. Rooms all a little quirky, lovely to be able to relax at the pool after a long drive from Calais. Breakfast was good, would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends.

I love this place. We stayed last year and had to return and will probably go back next year! The breakfast is wonderful with many homemade jams made by the hosts mother. Best coffee in France. The rooms are fabulously and authentically French. Tea/coffee provided in the rooms. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful and the pool is fabulous.

Beautiful chateaux in excellent location, fantastic for a stop over as not far from the motorway. Brilliant swimming pool and very friendly welcoming owner; amazing breakfast.

The bed in our rooms wasn’t that comfortable but the overall eclectic design of the bedroom made up for it.

Our stay here was good. A stop over on the drive up from the south to the ferry, and it split the journey very nicely. The chateau was easy to find, and looks fantastic as your drive up. Parking was very easy, with no height restrictions so no worries with the roof box. Friendly greeting from the owner, invited us to use the pool. Gave us recommendations on where to eat (although that was flawed!) Very modern room, not in keeping with the chateau, but nevertheless looked very cool upon arrival. Breakfast was ok, kids enjoyed cooking their own pancakes on the hotplate..

To be honest, as fair as the room is stylish, it wasn't particularly comfortable. The sloping headboard might as well not have been there! The location was lovely, but be prepared that if your staying on a Monday, there is nothing in the village that it open. We were lucky that the supermarket was open to grab a baguette and bit to make a sandwich back at the chateau.

Beautiful Chateau just off the A10 toll road so perfect for a stopover. The whole place is well kept, immaculately clean and welcoming. We used the pool which was lovely in the sunshine. Great stopover, we will visit again next time we are driving through France.

The room was beautiful and spacious with an incredible bathroom. The views from the terrace were stunning, and the champagne, canapés and meat and cheese plate delicious. It's an amazing find, and we would love to return. The pool was heated too, so lovely for a swim.

Nothing, it was all good. Everything was perfect for us, and we were very happy with our stay.
