Our stay at La Bellaudiere was nothing short of superb, made even more special by its proximity to the EXPO ROSE event in Grasse. The family staff’s superlative friendliness set the tone for a delightful visit. Housed in an enchanting old villa, La Bellaudiere offered a terrace with a view that took our breath away, making each breakfast an experience to cherish. The breakfast itself was delicious, featuring a variety of fresh, flavorful options to start the day right. Additionally, the hotel boasts a restaurant open in the evenings exclusively for guests, ensuring a convenient and cozy dining experience. Communication with the hotel was very nice and easy, as all staff members speak English. Even when we had to arrive very late, there was no issue collecting the key, which added to the ease of our stay. While the hotel’s excellent location allowed us to effortlessly enjoy the floral splendors of EXPO ROSE, it is worth noting that having a car is essential to fully explore the beauty of Grasse and its surroundings. La Bellaudiere is not just a hotel; it’s a gateway to the best of Grasse, and for that, it receives my highest praise.

It’s a very beautiful house from the 16th century. We loved the family who owns it and helped us with everything, incl. parking. People are very friendly here and it’s a special place near Grasse. It’s dogs friendly, has a gorgeous terrace and very nice room with chimney and piano. The view was stunning. And we loved to wake up to the smell of freshly backed croissants for the breakfast. We had a very nice experience staying at La Bellaudiere.

The beds were slightly uncomfortable.

The charm of the hotel is enhanced by the family who run the hotel and its position in terms of the view over the hills surrounding Grasse. The rooms are delightful and spacious and the food is sufficiently satisfying to negate any need to go in search of restraints. That is particularly so of the breakfast. The property was absolutely beautiful. Outside was a picturesque country side and inside smelled amazing. Our hotel room was spacious, so clean and had a wonderful view of the hills. Most of all, the staff were so friendly and kind, always smiling. Isabelle looked after us so well. For example, when we couldn’t get a taxi or uber to the train station, she went above and beyond to help us.

The feel of the typical small old French hotel in the South of France, but modernized and kept up enough to make it comfortable. Loved the old antique furniture, writing desk, windows on two sides opening out to a great view toward the Mediterranean in the distance. Also a pleasant garden space below. The restaurant dinner was great, moderate but up-to-date cuisine, and good local house wine. Perfect for one-night on our road trip. And they let us check in early and held our bags while we drove around for the day.

Super steep small driveway off the main road, though highway noise didn't bother us. Driving through the area around Grasse is getting pretty crowded.

Breakfast was wonderful . Owners were very helpful and kind.

Paper cups in the rooms for tea and coffee, older mansion converted to inn, rather close to the road. Needs to take it up a notch, but was very reasonably priced. Many single women travelers. Chef was not working, so no Friday night. Other restaurants were about 10 minutes away, and down narrow , winding roads.

This is a fantastic place to stay at. We are really satisfied with everything. Such a nice house, a wonderful terrace with a view over the valley, a nice breakfast and an incredibly price worthy and tasty dinner. A very nice spirit among the staff. The place is also close to Grasse, and the bus stops just a minute's walk from the house. Do not miss this true gem!

The staff were fantastic helpful and friendly. The food was very, very good. Atmosphere and ambience also great.

I have never stayed in a 2 star hotel before so I have no idea what the criteria for 2 stars so I will not make any further observations. My wife did say we have stayed in a 4 star hotel that was not as good,

The hosts Isabelle and Francois went above and beyond. My mother had to go to the emergency department and they were so wonderful helping and looking after us. Their lovely little villa felt like home. We loved the breakfasts on the sunny terrace and our room with a stunning view over the hills of Grasse. The menu at night was also delicious. This place has a lot character and charm.

the hotel is charming, has history and a beautiful location looking out over the hills to the sea. the family was friendly, we woke to birds twittering and chirping outside our window and the dinner and breakfast were great ! we loved it.

only one issue which was the leaf blower and truck cleaning on the road whilst we were having dinner - I don’t think that is in the hotels control though - it was just a pity to spoil the beautiful ambience but it didn’t last too long!
