The room was large & spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also spacious & had a lively bath. There was a fridge in the room & it would have been nice to have had a kettle.

Arrival is from 5.30. We entered at approximately 5.40 to find a member of staff conducting a meeting in the reception area. She did not acknowledge us so we waited patiently, she got up & rang the bell 2 x but still no welcome. Eventually an extremely helpful man arrived to show us to our room . The same lady was on reception the following morning & I explained our disappointment at her lack of courtesy the previous night m.

The double room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. In an excellent location for a stop-off with free car parking. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We cannot comment on breakfast as we did not use this facility. However we did have an evening meal in the hotel restaurant and must say that the food was exceptional, thank you to the chef. The restaurant and indeed the whole hotel has a wonderful ambiance and we very much enjoyed a quick stay.

We would like to have been pre-warned that the reception did not open until 5.30pm. We arrived around 4.30pm and wandered around the town until we were able to check in. This should perhaps be made clear on booking. Unfortunately the fridge in the room was not working and it would have been good to have some tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Great value for money: spacious room, with very comfortable bed. Easy parking, and friendly welcome. Delightful terrace restaurant at rear, with ambitious and reasonably priced cooking. Joinville has some charming corners, and is a pleasure to wander around.

Disappointed that only a bath, no shower, in the Superior Room.

The welcome from the receptionist The room was large & comfortable. Parking was good. The evening meal was exceptional &reasonable for the quality. The historic village exceeded expectations with lots of bars & interesting buildings. We would definitely recommend this hotel as an overnight stop or even longer.

 Well, located and easy to find. Secure parking on site is available, but remember to request when booking. The hotel may only be three star, but the restaurant and service were four star all the way. The gardens and terraces were an absolute delight, and thanks to the weather, that’s where we ate our dinner. good choices of beautifully prepared food was on offer, together with a comprehensive wine list, we could not have hoped for better.  breakfast was varied and generous. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending and commending this establishment.

This hotel was a total surprise because you come into this little worse for wear town thinking OMG BUT upon entering the hotel the owner was welcoming, full of information etc... the hotel is very taste full and the evening meal was 1st class, the rooms are well appointed and clean we will go back 100% O the garage parking for our touring motorcycles was a massive bonus...

We went for a walk in the town at night and got confronted be a local aggresive drunk that needed deal with so that ruined our walk.....

Very stylish hotel. Loads of character and comfortable rooms. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Definitely eat there if you can.

The town is a little run down. Check in is only at 17.30 and there is really nothing to do if you get there early.

This is a gem! It was the last night of our holiday on our way to the channel and this place made it special. Fred and his wife run this beautiful little hotel to perfection! The building is very attractive, particularly the courtyard and dining area. The food was excellent. We had two rooms with very well equipped bathrooms. Very nicely decorated. We didn’t know the town, choosing it for convenience, but it is a charming place.

The hotel is very welcoming, with a lovely fire, comfortable and tasteful rooms and a good restaurant. We stayed for one night when driving south and it was the perfect break in a long journey. Also, it seemed very good value for money

The hotel was perfect, very tastefully decorated and well maintained. We would love to come here again. Everything worked perfectly. The staff was very polite, helpful and nice.10 points to the breakfast too. The restaurant was nor open when we were there but next time we can enjoy that too. Really a lovely experience.
