Old world charm. A shabby chic apartment in a very quiet location. Make sure you follow arrival instructions. The owner is very helpful (provided bucket, water and cloths to wash bike). A short walk to a small town square with a few bars, restaurants. FANTASTIC BREAKFAST!

Probably not suitable for those who do not like small hills as you need to walk up to get out, but should be no problem for most. Yes the shower is small, but it works well.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived, but the host offered us a seat in the garden and made us a drink while we waited. Good explanation of how to get there, easy walk into town. Only stayed 1 night, but it would be a good base for a longer stay with lots of space in a lovely old building.

The bathroom was very small.

Very secluded and quiet location. 15 minute walk to the town centre although the first part is quite steep to get to the main road but I'm 58 and had no problem. Excellent host. Very good breakfast. Nice classic French accomodation. Ideal for a couple with extra sleeping available via the sofa bed.

Nosy neighbour. The post address takes you to a house a little up the road. Continue past No44 to the end of the road and park there, otherwise incure the wrath of the angry man at No 44 😀. Really though, there is nothing to complain about. All very good.

Very clean, beautifully warm, comfortable bed. Breakfast was hand crafted to be be delicious and well presented. The property was located in a quiet part of town and just 5 minutes walk from a great pizzeria recommended by Nadege, our host.

A little tricky to find, especially in the dark. but our host was available on the phone to give us directions and wait outside for us.

This property is fantastically charming and a real slice of French hospitality. The property is thoroughly rustic, and (thankfully for us), not modern. It is very comfortable surrounded by woods on one side making it lovely and quiet.

There was nothing we did not like.

A very welcoming host. The rooms were warm, clean and welcoming. The breakfast consisting of local and homemade produce was excellent. The walk into Chaumont takes 10 minutes or so. This is a convenient place to break the journey on a long trip down to the Alps or South of France.

A super nice host who helped me a lot. I came by bike and was soaking wet after a day in the rain. The kind lady offered to dry my clothes in the dryer. To walk to a restaurant she even gave me an umbrella and raincoat!

The accommodation is spacious and the host is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
