Nice location..comfortable room and great choice for breakfast
There weren't any sachets of milk in room for coffee..they did explain they sometimes make a mess and they did offer a cup of milk..maybe some milk powder sachets are the answer..our view was more of a hill than a ' mountain ' .however didn't really spoil anything although the TV was kind of small..

Location is supberd. 5min walk into town. Hotel is 'one stop' facility. Everything you need is there. Bar, restaurant, swim pool. We had attic room, compact but well appointed. Everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Staff very accommodating. I'd certainly stay again.

The friendliness of the staff is exceptional and both the owner and the dining staff went out of their way to be helpful. There is a nice restaurant, with very good food, and a sitting out area at the front as well as an indoor bar area. We wanted a snack lunch and were offered a fabulous salad with goats cheese and bacon - absolutely delicious. We were very pleased to find this place for an overnight stop in a beautiful area, and the reception we got made it even better. I must be honest, I really enjoyed our stay.
The stairway area is a bit tired, but I guess they have a lot of guests tramping over it! It was not important to us but there is no lift so might be difficult for those less able-bodied. Nothing to do with the hotel, but there is not much to do in the town. We did not try the little railway ride - too many negative reviews on line, but again, nothing to do with the hotel. My husband struggled with the bedding, but I did not....and the extra blankets were most welcome. Oh yes, the low ceiling was a bit bizarre, but I am short so I managed!! If you are tall, suggest you ask for a suitable room as head height was definitely an issue.....
