I visited the place in 2019 with the previous management and I am happy that it not only didn't deteriorate, but got even better. The hotel is very well located to start your cycling and hiking tours. It is a beautiful looking building with a nice tour de france museum. I found the rooms more than comfortable enough and the mountain view is precious. The host is wonderful and makes the place feel like a home and she offers a more than adequate breakfast buffett and delicious dinners. And then all these benefits for the most competitive price in the Bourg-d'Oisans region.

Great location for accessing Les Deux Alps without paying Les Deux Alps prices. Staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. It is a real intimate place to stay. Lovely to sit by the fire before dinner each evening and then the dinners were just great. Had no problem at all with breakfast, great simple selection, especially lovely pastries. Rooms very clean, tidy and warm. Also noticed some people mentioned lack of hot water, not something we had a problem with. The staff as said were great, James and Melody do a wonderful job. Our room was above the kitchen and after service there is understandably noise from clearing up which cannot be helped. It obviously stops not too late into the evening but we don’t stay up late as young family. We spoke to Melody and it was not too much trouble and they moved us to another room which was great service.

I won’t say anything here that the staff themselves didn’t tell us. It needs TLC in places but they are working through it. It is very clean and tidy though and in no way would I not recommend going but I just think if you are prepared for the ‘rustic’ then you know what to expect.

Hotel Au Bon Accueil was the perfect combination of a family fun inviting hotel, with a quiet quaint atmosphere that welcomed all kinds of groups to stay. We stayed as a family of three for a week, we traveled to ski in Les Duex Alp , which is easily accessible via the bus and Gondola in the morning and evenings. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rose at the Vénosc station, she greeted and welcomed us into the hotel with drinks and a bonfire outside. It was the perfect setting for the start of our holiday. The hotel sits in a quiet village just outside of the ski village , overlooking a whole scene of mountains. There was no noise except the river and the birds. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore these mountains more. All the staff at the hotel really made our experience so wholesome. Flora , Rose, Elise , and Johnathon truly are the most welcoming and fun staff. Philip has created a truly wonderful holiday destination with great staff, a beautifully traditional and family friendly atmosphere. With a laid back style the bar and restaurant were a big highlight. We were lucky to have two chefs over the week who created the most delicious cuisine every evening and stayed to socialise afterwards. The whole experience was welcoming social and extremely beautiful. We cannot wait to come and visit again, hopefully both summer and winter.

Nothing to comment here , the only small criticism is that our room was above the bar, which was occasionally loud late at night. This made little to no affect on our stay, but maybe noted for future.

Friendly and helpful staff, stunning location, excellent evening meal. My room was very quiet and warm. An older style but fine given price. Consider including dinner on the booking, otherwise its 2x the price on the day.

Bus service to Venosc .. no show mostly, hotel staff kindly gave me a lift each morning so I could catch cablecar to the ski area. The hotel have complained to the bus company, so hopefully this gets resolved.

A gorgeous, independently-run hotel at the entrance to Les Deux Alpes ski area (a short, free bus to the telecabine). Friendly, relaxed staff, and a beautiful dog too! Excellent breakfast included, consisting of muesli, bread, cheese, salami, jam. They also offer a 3-course meal in the evening, which was good, and especially so because without a car, it's a bit too far from any other eateries. Loved my stay there, and would happily return.

There was nothing I didn't like, although WiFi in my room would have been useful; I was in the building next door, where the otherwise excellent WiFi didn't extend to.

Review via X3 adults, 30 years old, on a skiing trip. Melody and James are absolutely fantastic hosts and made us feel home away from home. Both constantly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food and drinks we're fantastic. If your planning on skiing in les2aples, it's about a 20 minute drive, also an easy bus. Highly recommend staying at this hotel for an authentic alpes vibe.

The best experience in my life. We stayed in Au Bon Accueil for 6 nights with our 2 small dogs. It's one of the few hotels in this area that admits dogs. The hosts are amazing. They've made everything to make us feel welcoming and as we were at home. They even offered us to doggysit our dogs because we could find anyone to take care of them while we were skying. The breakfast was delicious and versatile. You can also have a 3-course dinner if you are not in the mood for going out and I can promise that you won't be disappointed a bit. The gondola lift that takes you to Les 2 Alpes is just 7 minutes away by car and there is a free bus that circulates during the whole day. The stop is right behind the hotel. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Au Bon Accueil.

Amazing location, very biker friendly place, with storage facilities, and an extra early breakfast on Marmotte day was a nice touch. The food was also excellent, and Rose and the team were super friendly. Appreciated the starlink too for decent internet connection. The rooms were basic but clean, the beds comfortable.

Would have been nice to have shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom.

Perfect stay - cozy room, great place on the ground floor to chill, with fireplace and sofas. Hotel restaurant offers really good dinner menu.

Hotel breakfast only offers sweet options, so it’s not really enough for a day full of sports ahead.
