Lovely rustic hotel. Warm and welcoming. Absolutely awesome dinners (half board - set menu), and great breakfast. We also had massage treatments which were much needed after the skiing and left us revitalised.

The bar lounge could have been a little warmer. There was a fireplace that was lit at the beginning of the evening, but not restoked. Had it been, the whole lounge area would have felt more cozy, and we would have stayed longer (and had more drinks !). Our only other niggle was that the swimming pool could also have been about 5C warmer !

The food was amazing, the staff were super helpful, it seemed they couldn't do enough for us :) i highly recommend this place if you want a lovely relaxing stay, with high quality food. Ps go for the half board!!

I liked having a small deck off of the room to enjoy the fresh air and views.

The shower in the bathroom being exposed to the main room was a bit strange.

The chalet is beautiful and the services exceptional. The boutique character of the hotel makes the experience very bespoke. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The food is top notch quality. The facilities (restaurants, spa, pool) are nice and well equipped. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. A must stay place.

Chalet Mounier is the best hotel we have stayed in for a skiing holiday. The staff made us feel most welcome and were friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional. Really lovely spa facilities for recovery after a day on the slopes!

We thought that the quality of food was excellent. We did feel a little pressured by the sommeliers to order wine and every night the sommeliers upsold the wine and encouraged us to spend a little more than we wanted. The wine was fearsomely expensive. We wished that there had been a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. The room was lovely but small. we could only put one suitcase away. I had to use my suitcase as a wardrobe which didn't bother me too much. The view from our bedroom was sensational. The hammam was lovely. The shuttle bus to and from the ski lifts was a gamechanger. All of the staff were very helpful. We are experienced skiers and found that we had skied the entire resort by the end of day two. I did not need to look at the piste map on day three. I think if we had been in Les Deux Alpes for six days we might have been a little bored. Great skiing for intemediates and the beginners area looked excellent. Good access to the mountain. Access much quicker using the Diable chairlift rather than the Jandri Express.
