A lovely hotel with mountain views & full of period features, renovated to a very high standard with a very comfortable & relaxing bar & lounge. Well located on the edge of town ,close to the main bus station giving good links to all surrounding areas. There is even a free shuttle bus running each way between the ski resorts of les deux alpes & Alp du huez. Friendly & helpfull staff giving all the imformation needed to help you make the most of the local area. Food in the restaurant is very nice, again in a grand & spacious room & there is plenty of choice available for breakfast. I will certainly return when possible & would recommend for a short or longer stay in this area.

Lovely old hotel opposite the bus station and ideally situated for an stroll into the town Fantastic communal rooms and a nice outdoor sitting area Despite warnings about water pressure the showers were excellent; strong and hot Decent breakfast although it could be improved by the addition of some hot choices Lovely friendly and helpful staff

Basic but clean bedrooms that lacked any form of any storage space It would have been good to offer portable fans as it was exceptionally hot during our stay and there is no AC or ceiling fans Front facing rooms were often noisy due to road traffic and bus station

The location is great for cycling, especially for Alpe d'Huez. Plenty of nice restaurants a short walk away, as well as a supermarket and various shops. The bike storage garage made securing our bikes easy. The hotel bar and restaurant over lovely, spaceious with indoor and outdoor seating options. The rooms are clean and decent.

Air-conditioning was missed. The rooms can get very hot at night. A kettle in the room would have been nice. Breakfast is your typical continental. I'd have preferred some hot food, like scrambled eggs and bacon.

Historical building with lovely restaurant, bar and common areas. Room was simple but comfortable. Staff were very kind. The bike locker felt secure. Complementary breakfast was great before long cycling days. Note that the restaurant isn't open for dinner every night, which is totally understandable but unfortunate for guests as it's the best option in town! Food was delicious, we would have liked to eat there again had it been open. Overall very happy with our stay and would gladly return.

A lovely old property situated a short walk from town. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was situated at the rear overlooking the car park. It was spacious and our bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. A secure lock up shed with bike stands was available to store our bikes.

Rooms at the front were on a busy main road, and also opposite the bus stop.

Convenient location close to ski resorts (car recommended though), friendly and helpful staff, lovely lounge area to chill with a drink after a long day of skiing, delicious continental breakfast buffet, room simple but spacious and functional with a modern bathroom and beautiful view from the window. Other guests are quiet and I haven't been bothered by any night noises.

Bathroom door was a bit annoying.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a convenient location for a ski lift in Alps D Heauz if you are traveling by car, It is a good price for a value.

In the upper-level room strange noise in the bathroom in the morning, probably ventilation or pipes, but we managed to deal with earplugs just fine, our friends who stayed on another floor didn't have the same issue.

Location good and easy to find. Large room with plenty of space clean and comfortable. Helpful staff and good food.

The sliding doors on the bathrooms were not very good and would be better as normal doors. The restaurant was closed Wednesday night and it seems so was most of the town meaning it was tricky to get a meal that night !

Very nice hotel in the centre of town. Decent sized room bit the tiniest bathroom I have ever had in an hotel, less than 30cm to squeeze past the basin to the toilet. All functioned, just very small. No wardrobe just boxes and pegs on the wall, see photo. I would have preferred a wardrobe and a chair. We arrived early, soaked through in torrential thunder storm, the owners let us use a basement room to get changed and hang wet kit. Parking at the rear for motorcycles.

A really lovely hotel, with a warm family-style atmosphere - the room was simple but comfortable (no TV, which was fine with me), the communal areas were simple but in good taste and good ambience. Especially nice to have a usable piano in the lounge area. Breakfast was top notch, and the restaurant for the evening was good too. I hope to return one day. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, so thanks so to them.

Travel to and from the ski area high up the hill was complex, but there I am excellent shuttle service to Allemond for best access to the telecabine into the mountains, so it was manageable with a bit of practice. The bus service to Alpe de Huez takes about 45 minutes and there are very few in the day, so careful planning is needed to avoid being caught out!
