The room was very nice and well appointed and the hotel was easy to find although quite a walk for us oldies into town with the cathedral beyond our capabilities. We dined in the hotel restaurant and that was very nice.

The receptionist said that we hadn't booked and paid for breakfast until we showed her our booking on our Booking.com app. which was a bit unnecessary.

We loved the size of the room and the balcony with pleasant views. It’s was dog friendly. Car parking ( but quite small for 30 rooms if all occupied). Close to shops and restaurants. Very convenient.

The shower was poor. Over the bath, difficult to operate and no grab handle. Very dangerous. WiFi was non existent everywhere in the hotel. Neither of us could connect. Breakfast was quite good but because there was only one member of staff doing everything (Reception, telephone and restocking breakfast) it was very inefficient. The fruit salad was replenished as we left the dining room after we had asked for it when we arrived. I felt sorry for the girl but it was not a cheap hotel and should do better.

Good location and a short walk into historical centre. We had to change rooms as the pipe to the WC made a high pitched noise but it was done very quickly with no fuss. We had a parking space at the side of the hotel which was helpful. Staff were friendly and breakfast good.

Nothing to dislike but would have been nice to have a kettle in room.

Wasps eating the jams and honey in the mornings, I suggest they should be covered, there were at least 5 wasps immersed in them on our first day. Would like more options for hot breakfast, tomatoes , hash browns, boiled eggs, mushrooms etc

The location was great, very close to the city centre but near a quiet park. Parking was easily accessible and free in the hotel grounds. Staff were very helpful and a good choice in the buffet breakfast. It was very much appreciated being able to sit out on the balcony during the humid evening.

It is hard to make any negative comment.

The location, it was just a short walk into the centre of the city. We found the staff helpful, friendly, and welcoming. In the evening we ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent.

No air conditioning, as a result, with the temperature being so high, was unable to get a good night's sleep.

Exceeded expectations. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rooms were large, very comfy bed. Appreciated that there was a fridge to keep water cold and some snacks for our road trip. Great location! We would definitely stay here again.

We booked 2 3-bedroom apartments which were huge. They had dining rooms, kitchen, 2 toilets, 2 shower rooms. Washing machine, and garage parking. There were 2 balconies. I would happily live here.

Nothing, I wish we'd stayed longer than 1 night.

Lovely comfy bed with nice quilt and pillows. Great bathroom. Really good breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to use their parking area adjacent to the hotel for our large vehicle.
