Our stay at Hotel du Bourg in Valmorel over Christmas and New Year’s was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a lasting impression. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the ski lifts and close to the charming town of Valmorel. After a day on the slopes, the cozy pub was the perfect place to unwind, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Hotel du Bourg offers excellent service, a great location, and a warm atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable skiing holiday in Valmorel.

Very quaint property. All a bit dated but that gives it lots of character. The staff keep the place spotlessly clean. Conveniently located in the Main Street with a short walk to the lifts. The hotel bar is arguably the best in Valmorel and the guys there do a tremendous job and make you want to drink there ahead of anywhere else. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome.

Rooms were tiny and you could barely turn round in it. Breakfast room was incredibly cramped and very busy with lots of queues to get what you wanted

Although the breakfast area was a little cramped, the content of the breakfasts and the quality of the good provided was very good.

Because there were non skiers in our party, it would have been nice to either have a hot drinks machine available during the day or at least a hot water supply. There was also limited recreational space to sit. The convenience of being in such a lovely area and on the main street made up for it. The hosts were helpful and polite.

We both had skiing accidents unfortunately near the end of our trip, and the help we got from (I think) the manager was very sweet. They really make you feel like they actually care. The whole vibe of the hotel is so cosy instead of a factory where you are a number. They had a great cosy pub with fireplace in the hotel downstairs, feels like a living room in the afternoons. They also have a sauna with foot massage devices you could reserve. All great after a good day of skiing. It is located right on the Main Street so super convenient for restaurants or quick shopping/groceries. Even with the accident, we can say we had a great time in Valmorel, which is a beautiful area, and we will look back at hotel du Bourg fondly!

This is such a charming place! The hotel is in the center of the village with everything nearby. The rooms are cozy and very clean. There is a sauna downstairs which can be privatized for half hour. The staff is exceptional! Everything you need to spend a fantastic ski holiday! On top of that there is a great pub inside the hotel. It is really good value for money. I have stayed there before and will definitely return.

The location is amazing, staff are absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. the breakfast was basic but delicious.

Excellent staff, very pleasant owners, they helped us a lot during our stay with our daughter who had an accident on the ski slope. Beautiful environment. Good access to the lifts, excellent and beautiful location for accommodation.

Pub is great - staff is very friendly - Location is excellent

rooms are small and ugly - Bathroom is unacceptable for the price - breakfast is ridiculous, almost no choices of bread, no eggs, no fresh fruits (only cans) and only 1 choice of Tea. Bad value for 200€/night

Location was perfect. Staff are warm & welcoming. The pub was great! Cleanliness of our rooms was faultless. Breakfast was adequate but not interesting.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel was ideally placed for the bustling town center and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the chairlift. We will definitely be back!

The only thing I can think of is there could be a half-board option...
