We loved staying here for one night on our way to Spain. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the conversation and true life stories. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious and healthy. We also enjoyed the local beer and wine. The artisan rum made for a special digestif. The room was nice and clean. We would definitely make this our regular stopover place. If you are looking for an authentic Catalan experience, stay here! The location is very convenient, close to the highway.

The owner was very friendly and helpful with details of potential onward travel traffic problems. The onsite restaurant was excellent (quirky) and great value for money. The owner´s wife is a baker and a very good freshly baked breakfast was provided. (included in the price of the stay).

Very clean and comfortable room. Very nice host. The restaurant in the Auberge offers a great choice of local food for dinner.

We stayed for an exceptionally hot night, which made the stay/night not very pleasant. Only a stand ventilator was available and the room was hotter than the ambient temperature in the house when we entered (something which was avoidable). In other circumstances, I would award this place a 9 or 10.

We enjoyed re-visiting this small but beautifully kept hotel and having the usual frienly chat with the owner. Dinner was very good, even better than before and more meal choices have now been introduced. Breakfast was simple but good. Passing through this part of France provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night at Auberge du Chene.

The property is a perfect stop off point. Not far off the motorway and has a restaurant next door as well as on site restaurant. The food cooked on site was excellent - fresh fish on the bbq. Aureli is a baker so fresh croissants and bread each morning with homemade jam. Gregory and Aureli were the perfect hosts. We had a flat tyre the morning we left, which happened to be a Sunday. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us for one more night and nothing was too much trouble for them. I highly recommend this family run Auberge.

The owners were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The homemade breakfast pastries were delicious. The restaurant next door had friendly staff serving good food.

It was a minor thing but the shower felt small due to it having a shower curtain rather than glass sides.

We enjoyed our return visit to Auberge du Chene. What really stands out is the friendliness and helpful approach of the hosts. Almost nothing is too much trouble for them. The location, close to the motorway makes it an attractive option for our journey through France and Spain. The evening meal was arranged in advance, cooked specifically for us and turned out to be very good.

Excellent over night stay in Auberge Du Chene. Very comfortable and very clean. The owners are a lovely couple and go out of their way to make you very welcome. Close to motorway. Restaurant and bar next door also excellent. Great food and great service.

Absolutely wonderful welcome. Hosts who couldn't do enough for me. This included a lovely home-cooked meal. The food was first rate. Good advice given about starting out early in the morning to cycle up the Pyrenees.

The Auberge is right by a main road and a little out of town. But I was pleased to get an evening meal so I didn't have to go out (I arrived by bicycle)

A very warm and kind welcome with a superb dinner (catalan charcuterie) and breakfast, delicious home produced bread and vienoiseries and locally sourced products. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet.
