Great location in the center of lovely medieval Mirepoix, good, charming restaurant under the trees (the duck was delicious), very good wifi, easy to park in the street outside. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Breakfast typically French (coffee, croissant, baguette plus a few extras) and good unless you are expecting a full buffet with a million options. Our room had a window over the roof and restaurant, which was nice but a little noisy until the last diners left.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours clearly, so your level of comfort depends directly on how noisy they are. Shower with little pressure and leaking, stagnant sink... the whole thing a little run down, but we loved it.

Perfect location just around the corner of the beautiful Medieval square of Mirepoix. We were so lucky it was the village's feasts' weekend and had an awesome family experience! Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, rooms are simple but charming. Recommended!

A tiny note: the beds had winter duvets amid Southern France's July heat - strange choice!

We loved the leafy courtyard tapas bar that was so comfy and welcoming for drinks and our evening meal. The hotel is old and characterful but clean and comfortable. Great location, easy to find and parking right in front of the hotel! Staff was very nice and a pretty little view from the bedroom and bathroom windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Liked the location, the lovely courtyard and ambiance.

Music every night until 11.15 in the courtyard, particularly the electronic base beat that turns your brains to mush, is not compatible with guests trying to sleep.

It was confidently located right next to the main square, but not directly in it so you had the perfect mix of being close, but a little secret. The staff was lovely and the shower was heaven.

A little smoke smell, but also kinda great to know that some hotels offer smoking rooms still.

The room was very good with excellent bathroom facilities. The hotel was in an excellent location, very central in the town. Staff were very helpful.

The breakfast room was 'very tired' - needed updating and modernisation. The wifi was intermittent in the room.

This is a really traditional hotel in a great location, just off Mirepoix's amazing medieval square. My double room was small, as is typical in France, but had a good sized en-suite bathroom, a tv with a range of French channels and decent wifi. It also had air conditioning which was a blessing in the current heatwave. The hotel's restaurant seems very popular and they offer a large courtyard dining area as well as indoor space. Hotel le Commerce is family-run, and the doors are locked at 11pm.

The mattress was too soft for me, but the bedlinen and pillows were good quality.

This hotel is very central to Mirepoix and we were able to find parking in front of the property, the rooms have A/C and the breakfast is great. Clean and wonderful atmosphere if you like old, traditional French hotels.

The staff are exceptionally helpful, we booked following an accident as we needed to be nbar to the garage who were repairing our car. They have helped us communicate with the garage (our French didn't go far enough!) and are flexible over our length of stay. It's really clean and the fresh juice at breakfast a great start to the day! The city was holding an annual Medieval festival over the weekend which was fabulous and a great distraction from our predicament.

Its hard to find things not to like, but the bath towels could be a little bigger...
