Had a nice room with view of the bridge. Liked the property and staff. it was a Sunday. we could only get a beer or a soda from bar. Really should have been able to get a glass of wine. Bteakfast- very good.

A beautiful location directly on the river, view of the bridge and the Rushing Waters especially from the spa. Staff very helpful and attentive especially Lina who arranged for a massage , interpreted my questions , manage reservations for local dinner options and a strong professional in her capacity. The restaurant is excellent, and worth a trip itself. and the location is in the center of the village which provides opportunities to travel to many local villages.

The location is superb, right on the river and very close to beautiful walks along the canal. The staff were very nice as was the decor.

I had asked at the time of my email reservation for a table in the restaurant for the lunchtime of our arrival — but no one emailed back to tell me it was closed for the entire duration of our stay! We ended up having to eat lunch at McDonalds as nowhere was still open and we were so hungry! I wish I’d known as it was especially for the food that we went there and I’d have changed the dates!

Quiet location, easy parking and great ambience.

Under parking, it said “no parking available” and I was surprised because I was here last year. I rang the hotel and Angelo answered and he secured a parking spot and a room with a river view for me. What an enterprising employee !

The views from the rooms are amazing and room decor was simple but good.

The staff appeared fragmented. Different members every moment we passed reception. They were efficient and pleasant but somehow not very welcoming. Breakfast was average but staff were not particularly helpful especially when coffee machines were giving trouble .

Room was quite spacious with all the expected amenities, very quiet and a lovely view over the river. The hotel's restaurant has great food, and we we ate there each night, rather than bothering to go further afield. Parking is also easy, and although it's not onsite, it's right in front of the hotel.

The fire alarm went off in the night which turned out to be a fault so was a false alarm. It was ringing for quite a long time so everyone was dressed and ready to exit. No staff came to tell us what had happened. It was a guest who finally told us but it ruined our nights sleep. When I complained at reception next morning whilst he apologised he didn’t seem concerned that our nights sleep was ruined.

The amazing location on the river with impeccable views, comfortable spacious rooms, spa facilities, lovely dining outside terrace, short walk from town. We were cycle touring and it was an oasis after a hot day on the bike. They kindly stored our bikes safely in an underground locked storage facility under the building.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

This is a small observation and did not upset our stay. Our bathroom looked out onto the nearby bridge and the shower is next to a window that has no curtain. Although the glass was half frosted, anything above the waist would be visible to people on the bridge. This might embarrass young women using the shower as their naked torso would be clearly visible, especially if the bathroom lighting was on.

The room & bathroom were fine. There was a nice view of the bridge. The location was convenient for my purposes.

A previous occupant seemed to have broken a glass, and not all fragments had been swept up. The corridor was a bit dingy. The door to the stairs banged noisily.
