Very friendly and helpful host who produced nice drinks from the bar for cyclists on a hot day. Bike storage indoors. The hotel was very quiet despite the area having major roads. Also cool and comfortable despite hot weather. A good breakfast. (Extra) Big room though the bed was a standard sized double. Very good value

Although a little dated, this was a great value place to catch a good night’s sleep after coming off the ferry. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were delightful and the breakfast terrific value. Delicious fresh bread and croissants, fruit, cheese etc.

There was nothing too bad, just felt a bit old-fashioned.

During my short (10-night) tour of Normandy and Brittany, I stayed at six different hotels, some budget hotels, others more expensive, some good but others less so. It is remarkable that the Logis Hôtel Fontaine, which was the least expensive, was one of the best. Of course it doesn’t compare with hotels charging up to €80+ for dinner – one would hardly expect it to. I started staying here on Tuesday nights a couple of years ago, prior to catching the Wednesday morning sailing from Roscoff to Plymouth, for which an early check-in is required. It is an easy 30-minute drive from the hotel to the port. The hotel is run by a couple, the wife of whom speaks excellent English. My room was of sufficient size for a short stay and had a good workspace, with facilities for making hot drinks. The bathroom was large with good quality fittings and a full-size walk-in shower with two heads – in effect a wet-room that would probably be useful for handicapped guests. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent – a tasty paté, a Brittany sausage and a trio of cheeses, washed down with coffee and cognac. Because of my early departures, I have never sampled breakfast here, but on my next trip, I shall stay for two nights and explore the locality I strongly recommend this hotel

Nothing - it is an excellent hotel

Breakfast good, location actually good even though right next to motorway, its close to morlaix centre ville and hotel is quiet and spacious

Would have liked some outside atea to be able to sit down maybe, there is a lot if space that could be utilised. Also a map of the area and possibly bus timetable and information.

It was a very nice, quiet room with a huge double bed in a laid back area of Morlaix, around 20 minutes walking from the center. The staff was very kind, allowing me to check in a bit earlier. The breakfast option is very good, don't miss it.

The hotel is in a pleasant area, has a good restaurant and friendly helpful staff. It is ideally situated for early morning sailings from Roscoff, being only about 35 minutes drive from the port. I asked for a room on the ground floor or accessible by lift. This was provided

I don't like showers over baths - they are dangerous for elderly clients like myself, particularly if there are no grab-rails provided. Acceptable for a one-night stop, but a walk-in shower would be better (and probably cheaper) I understand the restaurant is only open Mondays to Thursdays. Not a problem for my Tuesday night stay for an early ferry on Wednesday, but might be for a Sunday morning sailing

The Hotel staff could not have been nicer and provided help wherever possible. Good location and I will definitely return when in the location again 🙂

All was good for

I returned here for a second night because of the service and the quality of the room the first time I stayed and I wasn't disappointed. The host Vivien (?) was amazing. I needed to make some calls in French, and as my language skills are limited she did them for me. For me this is amazing customer service, far exceeding what I would expect. In addition the rooms are nicely decorated, soft furnishings are coordinated, the bed is really comfortable and the whole ambience was peaceful.

Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Unfortunately located next to the N12 makes it quite noisy. Not enough electric sockets in room for phone chargers and the VMC didn't appear to be working.
