Amazingly decorated rooms, lovely staff, great location, beautiful rooms,… did I already say the rooms were amazing?

Could use a small patch us, fix some small faults like door hinges or loose decorarion

Quirky, very comfortable and clean hotel in an excellent location, and superb value for money. The metro is only a minute's walk from the front door allowing easy and quick access to all the major attractions of Paris, and the arty area of Montmartre is in easy walking distance. If you're after nightlife, the Moulin Rouge is a short 5 minute walk away along a lively buzzing street, Soho style - maybe not so suitable for kids! The hotel itself however is super quiet, and once you're in for the night, you would never know the busy nightlife outside. Lots of bars and restaurants close by, covering breakfast through to late night dinners. Would definitely stay here again, felt very safe in the neighbourhood and well looked after in the hotel.

I guess the pillows were a little hard for my taste, and whilst there's a hot drinks maker in the room, teas and coffee were not topped up when the room was cleaned.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The decore of the whole hotel, room, lobby were all so creative and fanciful. I enjoyed the jacuzzi, the balcony and the nice bed. The rooms were sound proof and we enjoyed the peace in our room. It's one of the places you'll be happy to stay and just chill in the room for hours. The location was near enough to walk to the sights, the metro and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes around. I will come back for sure.

The bath was a bit tired looking but it was very clean and working well. There was some misunderstanding with how the breakfast ordering was to be done. I suggest some update on their information card. However, the staff were quick and gracious to help us and made our stay very comfortable.

I like the decor. Some will find it dated and want modern and hygge or sparse but I prefer the older style decor. It s beside the pigalle station and the Gustave Moreau museum is nearby. Breakfast is delivered to the room for everybody. Somebody at some point invested a lot of thought in the interior design with its carpeted walls and entrance lobby. The vanity unit in the bathroom was very nice.

The glass sliding door into the bathroom had been smashed at some point and nobody had replaced it. I could see the traces of smashed glass in the door roller overhead. The ceiling panel in the bathroom was not sealed and was loose.

I stayed on the 1st floor in rooom 104. It is a large enough room for two people and it had a couple of TV channels in English which was good, BBC1 and Aljazeera News. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and th bathrrom was well appointed. There is an elevator to get to your floor and there is brasserie - bar below the hotel which was reasonably priced and open late. The "Pigalle" Metro is just across the road which is very handy. Staff were very good and helpful and spoke English. Moulin Rouge is about five minutes walk from the hotel. The area is a bit of a red light district so be aware of this fact. I had no problems as a solo male traveller. There is 24 hour reception as well which is great.

Although beyond the control of the hotel itself there is a lot of street noise from the nightclubs located quite near. This did not bother me but if you are looking for a quiet location I would not choose this spot. If you are looking for activities at night I would say this is a good spot, although, may I stress it could be considered unsafe for a solo female traveller at night. There is a recent incident of an Australian female being sexually assaulted in the street near the hotel, again, nothing to do with the hotel itself. The area is a bit of a red light district so be aware of this fact.

It won't be everybody's cup of tea, if you like faceless chain hotels, this is not for you. It is unique, full of 'baroque' character, ideal for Pigalle. A bit 'rough round the edges ', however staff are very friendly & helpfull. Breakfast, served at yr room every morning was perfect.

It's defo not 4*, probably 3*. And decor could mibee be a bit less fussy in the rooms, a bit tatty in places. However it was good sized room & bathroom, very clean. Cumfy bed.

Really nice staff, very helpful and accommodating, the room was lovely and had its charm, the two large windows facing out to bustling Paris was great for atmosphere, a little bonus is the metro is a one minute walk which is super helpful (shopping bags and luggage)

I can see some people picking up on a lot of little nuances but honestly it was just a lovely place to stay

Staff was very polite and friendly, facilities were good, except jacuzzi, which didn't work. But we get room with jacuzzi as an updrate, so we didn't upset :) Location is very convenient, Pigalle metro station 2 min away, Monmartre area 5 min away by walk. A lot of cafes, restaurants and stores near the hotel. The room is furnished with vintage furniture, it's really impressed ;) Definitely recommended!

AC worked very poorly. But we weren't in Paris in hot weather, so we didn't address this issue with the staff.

Superb location for exploring Montmartre! The staff upgraded our room to one with a fabulous jacuzzi as it was our anniversary! Loved the old parisian decor and style...very inkeeping with Moulin rouge! Not at all a soulless chain hotel. Will definitely return!

Slightly inconvenient not keeping the key with you when you went out. Not too much of a problem, though.
