Beautiful facility. Great service. Impeccable rooms. Thoughtful touches like welcome note and water bowls in our room for the dogs. Easy check in and out. Lovely common areas, very inviting and relaxing.

Breakfast had a very limited selection of items. More like 2 or 3 star hotel. Pool was open but not heated. Was not possible to use it. Restaurant is 8mn walk (not on premises). Normally not an issue but it was raining/thundering that night which dampened our experience, so to speak :).

Excellent breakfast offering a wide selection of foods. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly.

Very minor complaints: the bed was firmer than we would have liked, and the shower head, which was actually the head of a hand held sprayer, was not revitalizing, the spray was weak.

Wonderful experience staying in a chateau. Have breakfast outside overlooking the vineyards. Relax by the pool with a glass of wine. They even arranged for dinners and bikes to be delivered to the chateau for a lovely ride through the backroads amongst the vineyards, chateaus and old towns. Lovely stay

Beautiful property located close to all the beautiful vineyards in Pauillac, St. Estephe, St Julien and Margaux. Fantastic location! Breakfast was great and the staff were always eager to help and friendly!

Highlight of our stay was the impeccable service by their wonderful staff. Reception helped us book visits at Lynch-Bages and Gruaud Larose and made us feel welcome even before we ended up at the hotel. Upon arriving, everyone from reception to the porters to the cleaning staff had a smile on their faces and were exceedingly kind. We were given a free upgrade to the Junior Suite to our surprise. A much larger room in comparison to the one we had booked. We also really enjoyed the pool and the delicious food at Cafe Lanival, a short walk away from the hotel.

I think the bathroom of the Junior Suite we stayed in was not newly renovated like some of the bathrooms in the photos I saw here on Booking. Nonetheless, it was spacious and rather clean. And my husband was very happy to have the larger room.

The hotel is set right in the vineyards. It was wonderfully quiet and relaxing and the staff were superb. Although the restaurant is currently closed the associated bistro in the village is only a couple of minutes walk and the food there was superb. The pool was perfect and the loungers very comfortable. The bed was exceedingly comfortable too. Thoroughly recommended hotel.

Why don’t French hotels learn from the Spanish ones and include breakfast in the room rate? We skipped it because having paid do much already we weren’t prepared to pay nearly 60 euros for the two of us to eat breakfast.

Lovely property, friendly staff that go above and beyond to make their guests feel valued and taken care of. Close walk to several outstanding wine chateaus.

Great castle hotel with friendly personnel and very convenient facilities. Nice breakfasts with a view to a domestic grape yards. The best place at Medoc peninsula, we are second time there
