We had an unforgettable stay at The Essenciel Hotel at Le Château des Pères. The hotel’s architecture is stunning, truly a one-of-a-kind design that blends futuristic elements with natural surroundings. The rooms are incredibly cozy, with a minimalist yet modern vibe. Our room had a large, circular window that filled the space with natural light and gave it an intimate feel. The dining experience was fantastic, with fresh and well-prepared dishes. We enjoyed a delicious meal with drinks, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, with beautiful views of the grounds. The indoor pool area was another highlight—immaculately clean, with a unique artistic touch thanks to a striking diving sculpture. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, The Essenciel Hotel exceeded our expectations with its mix of modern design, comfort, and tranquility. A must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay!

The room was cold, and it took about four hours to warm up with the AC. The breakfast did not have any vegetables.

From the moment we arrived at L'EssenCiel we knew it was special, the appearance as you drive up is Wow! The staff at the reception desk and everywhere in the Hotel are attentive/polite and professional. The pool/spa area is wonderful, breakfast is a delight and the room sublime. We upgraded our room on site to a Nid Celeste and benefitted from the view on the 5th floor.

My only concern was the restricted car parking spaces, these are quite narrow and 50% of the car park is dedicated to EV charging - as the majority of these were empty most of the time, regular vehicles often had to park in the spaces. Other than this fairly minor gripe there is absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

The rooms are like teletubbie houses, very nice, round domes. On the inside they are bigger than they look from the outside with a big bed, great bathroom, coffee machine, sitting corner with large comfortable chairs. It's really special, very well arranged, clean, friendly staff, really worth it !

You feel home right away. The decoration is simple but effective. The big shower, the big bed, the window looks at nature ;o)

Excellent selection of good quality food.

It was very hot and there is only environmentally friendly air con which didn't;t really cool the rooms enough in hot weather, was fine when it was a bit cooler.

Super cool hotel, with beautiful gardens and excellent restaurant. Enjoyed the dpa pool and saunas. Breakfast had wide variety of choices. Room is large and great decor.

Having to leave, it is really really nice there.

Great / stunning architecture, park setting, pool and spa

Car park quite small and half with ev chargers, so cars were all crammed in the non ev charging spaces together. Dinner was chicken and chips only on a Sunday.

Loved it’s uniqueness, it’s set in beautiful gardens, the rooms had everything you’d need and there was the added benefit of restaurants on site and a spa!

Nothing I’d just suggest milk in the rooms to make a coffee (but I know Black coffee is more the French way so can’t complain)

The spa was amazing. The beds were really comfortable. The rooms were well designed. The setting was lovely.

We weren’t that impressed with the food at Re Pères but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A great place to stay less than 15 min drive from La Roche aux fees , outstanding design, in a beautiful park scattered with sculptures. The staff members are welcoming and made appreciated effort to accommodate our special requirements. Highly recommended .

Overnight stop to meet friends travelling through France. Great location and very good dinner. The "space age pods" were really comfortable, and cool!
