Original design throughout - very comfortable bed and large room. Quiet location convenient for motorway and town. Good ordinary restaurants nearby and help was given to find them. Staff friendly. Restaurant was shot so the place was quiet nb - just two rooms were staying. Amazing staircase. Good simple parking on site.

Separate tunnel-like loo and smaller bathroom at odds with design ethic. A somewhat mean feeling about breakfast (you may have one of these, one of those etc) - we didn’t want more, but the tone set was narrow and unfriendly.

Very good, separate breakfast room with unique objects and decorations. Plenty of good food and coffee, not hurried, some exceptional jams (!) and variety of dishes, option to have something cooked for you. Quiet and very nice way to start the day. Dinner, well, wow! The whole Michelin experience, and I’ve been to a few. That was amazing, the room itself is an art object, the staff looked after me as I was dining alone, the food was sometimes lighthearted (fish soup made to look like Guinness ) but always full of taste and adventure (the pear dessert was, well, I’m stunned). I must go back. I must take my family. You should eat there at least once in your life, make a diversion from your travels.

I don’t think there was anything that came up, I liked it a lot, even the location was very handy.

We got a very warm welcome by the employees of La Huchette. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. Our room had a very comfortable bed, even for a man of 194 centimeter tall. We opted for the French breakfast, which was very neatly presented. All in all a very clean and comfortable stay with amazing staff. We would definitely recommend staying here and will probably stay here again in the future.

Showering in the bath, without having a showering screen. It is only a minor issue though. The bathroom is very comfortable in general.

Main restaurant was excellent, food, wine and service. Each course was beautifully balanced and per and the experience was enhanced by the explanation of each dish. The use of local ingredients I particularly like and again, the explanation of how each dish was constructed. Very well done.

The breakfast I found lacking to be honest. For an English taste, it was simple and I would have liked warm options and a wider choice of hot food. Puzzled by the clouds in the restaurant, just seemed odd! don't know why but it jumped out to me. I will have to look again when I stay there in June.

Beautiful boutique hotel, with a very chic, modern interior design. We were upgraded to a large room, which we absolutely enjoyed (with view of the pool and gardens). Comfortable bed with great linens, and otherwise, a beautiful, spacious room (even though very modern and designery). Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy dinner there, as the restaurant was closed, but the food is supposed to be amazing. We chose to stay here instead of in Macon, so that we had access to countryside walks for our dog: This was a good decision, as there wasn't much green in Macon. The personell were also very friendly and accomodating for our dog (33kg). I can only recommend this place further, and would definitely stay here again (did I mention free parking right out front?)

The location is exceptional- 15 mins from the motorway route yet exceptionally quite. we felt safe and secure parking our cars which were fully loaded following a trip to Puglia. The reception and restaurant teams were friendly and couldnt do enough for us. This is our third stay at this hotel and we aim to make many more trips. As you walk into the reception after 8 hours on the road the ambiance makes your shoulders drop- its so relaxing!!

The temptation to indulge in the fantastic menu- but is a great way to start a holiday, and the service is second to none.

Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, a new but fantastic experience! Room was very spacious, airco was working perfect, nice bed: good experience overall.

The personnel at dinner was mediocre at best: they explained the food, but no further options on wine or whatever and what a difference compared to the wonderful lady at breakfast!! She made our day, next time we take her with us.

The internal decor was great and the staff were fantastic , restaurant was a bit Michelin stared, it needed a more normal level of food. The food was excellent but a bit too much as an overnight enroute type of meal. Perhaps we just did not pick up on that when we booked . The beds were very comfortable an it was immaculately clean.

The bathroom needed a bit of an overhaul . Very clean but tired .

Lovely setting - attractive building set in a garden with a pool. It was warm enough to sit outside with drinks before dinner. Convenient to the autoroute. Superb restaurant. The Charolais and smoked beetroot starter was probably the best starter I’ve ever eaten!

Strangely there was no shower curtain although there was a shower over the bath. Also no hairdryer, but other rooms had them.

Bedroom separate toilet , cleaness , privacy , view on the pool ! Awesome quiet location perfect ! Pool was great I did swim and relax in there !

One small comment , bathroom tub had to sit in to wash no curtain and had to hold the shower head was a little struggle to wash myself …. But again the rest was perfection
