Friendly hotel convenient for motorway in peaceful setting on banks of River. Close to wine regions of Beaujolais and Burgundy. Good traditional breakfast and a nice meal.

The hotel is separated into 2 modern wings, one close to the reception and restaurant but one is across the car park in a very modern motel type block. The restaurant food was good but the menu the same as when we have stayed several years ago.

Upgrade room was large. The romms are in separate buildings with a balcony facing a lawn/field with viewsdirectly at the river Saone and access to a cycle/foot path at the river. Situated at a quiet area, but not far from the auto-route with secluded parking. Excellent restaurant adjacent at the old farm house. French style breakfast.

More choice at breakfast.

Perfect over night stop - particularly if you are bringing your dog. Lovely location just by the river Saone where you can enjoy a lovely scenic walk (use plenty of insect repellent!!) We had a garden room which had a small deck terrace opening onto a large grass area where the dog could exercise. Dog was welcome in the restaurant and the food was very good although it is a fairly limited menu. Rooms are basic but very clean and suited our purpose - especially at this price level. We came in mid September and were ok without A/C but I can see that might be an issue in July and August.

Lovely country side views and location near the river and motorway. Ideal place for a one night stop over when travelling, particularly with.dog. Also, having access to a restaurant with a good range of meal options was welcome.

Next time we would book a slightly more expensive room in the annex instead of main house as we had some background noise from traffic

A pleasant location at the side of the River Saone. The old buildings where the restaurant and reception are housed is lovely and characterful. Lots of old farming equipment around, which adds to the charm. The food served in the restaurant is superb.

The accommodation is perhaps a bit basic but that isn't a real criticism as it was absolutely adequate for us.

Terrace off back of room was good, all very clean and comfortable, good breakfast with great croissants, and superb dinner in the evening. Also - view of horses.... Definitely a come-back-to.

Bathroom a bit cramped, but adequate. A kettle for coffee would have been nice and, in a perfect world, air conditioning.

A very pleasant hotel. With the charm of an old farm. Beautiful surroundings, a room overlooking the river, where it is nice to take a walk. Friendly, helpful staff ready to give you good advice. Cozy restaurant with good food. Complete breakfast. The rooms are a little dated but overall clean and comfortable. Good parking, the ability to park the car in front of the room. Nice place to stop along the way

We had cottage number 1 it was cozy and clean not small, beautiful surroundings and the food in the restaurant was delicious, I have read all the reviews and do not understand what they were complaining about

No shower curtain

Peace and quiet, yet quite close to the city. Dining room had nice ambience. Dinner was very good food and wine not too expensive. Self service breakfast had good choice of things. Plenty of hot water for the shower (over bath)

Room was quite basic, average bed. Shower difficult to control water getting everywhere as screen too short ove rbath.

The fabulous old farmhouse and the delicious food and friendly staff.

The contrast between the old restaurant and the modern motel rooms but it was perfect for a stopover to the Alps and we could park securely and safely outside our rooms.
