Comfy beds and a quiet room. Efficient air conditioning. I especially liked the toilet being separate from the bathroom in the family room - useful when four people are getting ready in the morning. Friendly and efficient staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant areas. Plentiful breakfast choices.

The hotel is a bit tired and really needs freshened up in the communal areas. Novotel need to invest some money in what appears to be a very popular and busy hotel. Dinner buffet could have had more hot food options but what was there was tasty.

Room was good size

Breakfast busy and understaffed, couldn't get a table, no mugs, not able to make a tea, no bread to make toast, staff got me bread then found toaster didn't work, no cereal or bowls left, eventually the staff were bringing out extras but I didn't have time to stand around and wait for people to leave to be able to have a table, I went for breakfast before 8am as had to leave by 9am

I enjoyed the comfort and space, for a family of 4 it was perfect spacious. Having kettle was great too. The hand soap and shower gel and shampoo smell amazing I had a lovely bath. Very comfortable bed. I also love that the toilet is in a separate room from the bath and sink. The honey they sell is delicious. It's my second time staying here and I'm sure I'll be back.

Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, good shower, bar and restaurant good value. Secure car parking, pleasant surroundings despite proximity to Autoroute.

Unfortunately the air conditioning in the bedrooms had developed a fault but we were given the opportunity to cancel at no cost if we did not wish to stay.

Easy access; nice layout; clean; lots of parking. Really fast check in and check out. It was quite busy but not noisy and never felt over full.

The restaurant was severely understaffed on the night we stayed. This is possibly more an issue with staffing in that sector in that location but we ate dinner in Maçon because the wait for service was looking long. The poor restaurant manager looked in the verge of a nervous breakdown so we probably did him a favour by going out.

Nice staff, outside area with playground with a slide and swings, plus a swimming pool. Restaurant serves good food for the price.

Serving staff in the restaurant, it was busy times for them because of the holiday season but there was no good communication.

Was exactly what i was expecting. We just needed a bed for the night while traveling down to the Alps. The room and bathroom were clean. the beds were comfortable and it was very quite. We all had an evening meal in the restaurant which was traditional French food and very tasty and quick. Was great to be able to eat on site to save traveling back out again. There was also a nice bar arear where we could have an evening drink. Location was perfect as far as i was concerned. Straight off and back on to the motor way. Even a fuel station on site

Stop over hotel for journey to/ from alps. Nice welcoming hotel and great food. Very family friendly. Very convenient to route and parking. Also has onsite EV charging and Tesla charger nearby.

Rooms are basic and a little dated but clean and functional.

Paid a little extra for a better room, and it was fabulous. The hotel is situated just off the motorway and right next to a garage. A good bar and restaurant that served really tasty quality food. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely use this hotel again...

Novotel Mâcon is lovely hotel. The breakfast was excellent but unfortunately we cannot say the same for dinner. The staff were so kind and helpful. The choice of the decor is modern and the ambience delightful. The proximity of the hotel to the motorway is most convenient.
