Have stayed here on several occasions. Lovely location amongst vineyards. 5 minutes walk to the village but that is what we wanted. Room was really nice, very clean, only the lack of aircon prevented it being perfect. Owner and his wife are a lovely couple, unfortunately they have sold the hotel and will leave at the end of July (2025). Large carpark and swimming pool.

Quiet location and a short walk from Julienas village. Ample parking. Conveniently located for touring the local wine growing villages and discovering the famous Beaujolais crus. Hotel reception staff were very helpful.

It would have been nice for guests to be offered the use of the hot dri nk dispensing machine located in the breakfast room at the hotel entrance. No bottle if water or hot drink facilities in the room.

Scenic location in the midst of working vineyards and wineries and within walking distance (10 mins) of Julienas itself. Clean, comfortable, especially the beds and bedlinen, and very good self service breakfast. What sets it apart in particular are the owners for whom no request is too much. There are a number of good restaurants nearby for dinner - it pays to books these in advance. Highly recommended.

The location is amazing. Very tranquil amongst the vineyards of Beaujolais. Lovely building and gardens (with small pool), wonderful couple who run it and great breakfast. Only slight downside was we arrived late and there is no restaurant but the helpful man who runs the hotel arranged for us to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Overall it was great and I was sad we weren't staying for longer. Would recommend and I'd love to go back.

A restaurant would have been useful plus the rooms were clean but simple.

Wonderful location within the Beaujolais vineyards, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and very clean.

The double bed was fine for size but much too soft for my liking. Would have liked an on-site dining option, but there were good restaurants nearby.

Within easy walking distance of the village. Rooms are on the small side, but are comfortable and clean. Nice little pool which was perfect for a quick dip at the end of a hot day. Lovely breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. Great little spot for a couple of nights.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, located in a quite area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a swimming pool and a cozy terrace to sit outside and enjoy a drink.

Manager was very helpful - it was a last minute booking and reception hours were extended to enable us to arrive later than normal check in hours.

Stay would have improved for me if there was freshly brewed coffee for breakfast (hot drinks are from a machine) but other than that breakfast provision was excellent.

Very clean, excellent breakfast. Not too far from a brace of good restaurants (800 metres and easily walked to). Proprietor willing to make booking on our behalf.

No restaurant (apparently it's too much trouble) and a very cold swimming pool. Beds too soft, had to put cushions under the mattress at the sides to be able to use the full width of the bed.

Pretty hotel in the French countryside.

We arrived after a five hour drive from Calais but hadn’t thought to book ahead somewhere in the village to eat. Being August, everything was fully booked and no food available anywhere. The only option was another 10km drive to Macon. There was a bar in the hotel but no food available.
