we want to thank Michele, the host, for our wonderful stay in her beautiful home. Michele is a great host with sense of humor and very good energy. Her energy put us already at ease, as if we were fruends for long time already. we felt at home. the bedroom was absolutely beautiful and perfectly cleaned. we felt that we were in 19th century with all the beautiful furniture full of charm. Mysthic athmosphere. The breakfast was so great, so good that we had breakfast and lunch at the same time ;) We can say that this stay was one of our favorites in our lives. And the big lake with swans in front of the house is beautiful beyond words. Michele thank you so much for receiving us with such a good energy and humour. If one wants to feel at home and have a beautiful and special time, go and meet Michele in her Castle ;) Thank you Michele!!! we will come back!!! Heinrich and Joana

Beautiful old Manor house in a beautiful setting. Michelle our host was very welcoming. Our room was very grand, clean & comfortable. Michelle suggested & booked us dinner at a fantastic restaurant just 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast the next morning was perfect in the lovely dining room. We took a beautiful walk to the river that flows by the property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was an amazing place to stay. Beautiful location, with gardens right down to the river. Everything we needed was provided by our host with a very nice breakfast. We loved the house with all its interesting things and our host was very helpful when we struggled to find a restaurant on bank holiday Monday when France shuts unlike England

Interesting, slightly quirky accommodation. Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower. Good breakfast, excellent selection of breads, homemade jam, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yoghurt.

The room was a bit musty on arrival which didn't create a great first impression..

Very nice and welcoming structure in a small chateau on the outskirts of Angouleme. High quality and seasoned furniture everywhere. Big room with a bathroom equipped with an outsized shower. Very good breakfast. Good value for money

I loved the looks and location of the place. I really felt I was in a castle. Breakfast was super and the lady made me feel very welcome.

I missed the possibility to make tea in my room. This is quite standard in B&B's
