Welcoming hosts, very attentive and friendly. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed (no plastic undersheet thankfully, I find them most uncomfortable). Monsieur recommended a local restaurant which was very traditional and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, crepes made with Calvados, homemade confiture, cheese and fresh bread plus some small cakes somewhat like madeleines (I think they were called called “financiers“). On the morning of our departure we were invited to pick walnuts from the tree in the garden, which we promptly did. Plastic bags were even supplied! When we returned home the walnuts were dried and they were absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Not one thing.

It was a very enjoyable stay. Alain welcomed us and showed us around. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was delightful. We spent one evening sitting in the garden, listening to the sounds of the countryside, with cider and wine to accompany us. The breakfast, on both mornings, was tasty. Homemade jams, fresh bread, crepes, homemade yoghurt, cheese, fresh kiwi fruit from the garden, and hot coffee all made for an excellent start to the day. Just down the road, towards the A84, is a truck stop where we had a super evening meal. Help yourself starter (salad, cold meats, etc) followed by a tender steak and fries and pork steak with fries accompanied by help yourself wine, water, or cider all for €9.95 each. Everything was clean and well presented and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Nothing, really.

We liked the room itself, which was spacious and gave us comfort. There was a very nice atmosphere with the owners, and the place is beautifully placed right outside a nice French town.

The room that we had was the biggest there, we think, and it didn't offer a whole lot of privacy when you were in the bathroom. There wasn't any closure, but otherwise, it was nice.

The breakfast was superb lots of delicious homemade treats. H o it’s were v friendly and welcoming.

Nothing to dislike in the Manoir but If travelling like us we n a Sunday have a meal on the way or take with you as no restaurants locally were open Or

A lovely rural location, quiet and tranquil and typically French. The hosts were friendly and helpful together with making every effort to speak English. The breakfast was home made and plentiful

We would suggest that maybe an outdoor eating area would improve its lovely ambiance. Improved lighting in bathroom

Comfortable spacious living accommodation with good bathrooms. Beautiful peaceful location and delicious local breakfast. Hope to return. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Minimal cooking facilities.

The hosts were just adorable. Not only fantastic advice for a restaurant for 4 of us, but as we were on bikes, they dropped us off and picked us up. Insisting on no payment !! Then the next mooning the most amazing breakfast with local produce - all included. A wonderful family owned property.

It’s a lovely family owned place on the country side with a great atmosphere. The breakfast is outstanding with local products and home made cakes.

A fabulous breakfast with homemade preserves and local produce, served in a wonderfully atmospheric dining room of the Manoir. The buildings are full of character and date from the 16th and 17th centuries. The massive stone portals on the 16th century outbuildings are very impressive.

A wonderful idyllic country spot. Very welcoming host and the accommodation was perfect for our needs (we stayed for 1 night on our way to our next destination) The huge garden had a trampoline that my sons appreciated.

There was nothing not to like.
