I recently had the pleasure of staying at L'Anctovilliere, a beautiful landhouse that exceeded my expectations in every way. The two-room apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with a cozy bedroom featuring a shower. The pool was a lovely bonus, open to guests from 5-8 pm, although I must note that its depth of 2.20m might not be suitable for very young children. However, for families with older kids or adults, the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Speaking of which, there are plenty of interesting places to visit within a 100km radius of Anctoville. Some highlights include: - The historic city of Rouen, with its stunning cathedral and medieval architecture ( approx. 70km) - The picturesque village of Honfleur, with its charming harbor and artistic heritage (approx. 90km) - The beautiful Normandy coast, with its stunning beaches and scenic views (approx. 80-100km) The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the landhouse was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend L'Anctovilliere to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Normandy region. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at L'Anctovilliere and would definitely return in the future. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming. The house is very beautiful, our room, lounge and ensuite were spotlessly clean and to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. There is a pool which is great to cool off in. The continental breakfast is exceptional, with the addition of homemade yoghurt and jams. This is a really beautiful place to stay, with a very warm welcome, I highly recommend a stay here.

Nearest lunchplace four km away in a village or twenty km away on Bayeux. . In fact the room is part of the house separated by sliding doors but having his own frontdoor. Gps necessary to find the location. You drive through really narrow country road.

Our stay here was just about perfect, comfortable beds, privacy and a delicious breakfast. Our hostess was amazing and understanding, even though we were a little late. Thank you!

Exceptionally friendly hostess, beautiful house and rooms, gone the extra mile to make comfortable, remote control beds, stunning shower room, views of the sheep next door and chickens in the garden, wonderful restaurant that makes crepe meals and car inspired decor for extra fun!!!!

Nothing to complain about but to take the experience further there could be cereal and fruit for breakfast for the kids, the stairs could have a safety gate so you don't have to worry the kids fall down in the night and the pool could be heated for the winter

madame is very kind & friendly, we liked the Beautiful arrangement on the breakfast table, perfect place to stay if you love quiet & beautiful environment in countryside, we saw sunrise & hot air balloons in the morning; private parking inside the premise, 100% safe.
