Very helpful and pleasant staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed and a good price

It is very useful as it is near the railway station but it is quite far to the centre of St Brieuc, which means that there are not many restaurant options near the hotel. The hotel restaurant was only open on weekdays and was full while I was there, with a large group of tourists filling the hotel. Also there is very limited space to work, with only a small table and hard metal stool to sit on.

Modern simple hotel with outstanding junior staff who were really helpful and spoke excellent English . I hope they get to run their own hotel one day. Very quiet despite being opposite the station.

Only a kitchen stool and small raised shelf to use as desk in room. Nowhere else to sit except the bed. Shower and basin area not very user friendly. Nowhere to put suitcases and be able to open them except the floor or bed.Triumph of design over practicality. Entry to car park quite difficult. When the restaurant is not open( it was not during our stay) it is a long way to walk to find anything to eat.

The location of the hotel was perfect, we walked every night into the old town. Beds were very comfy and extra pillows were provided. It was warm the first night until the ever helpful staff showed us how to switch the aircon on :-) The room was a good size with excellent shower with regard to size and water pressure. Breakfast was wonderful with a good selection of fresh produce which was topped up regularly. Car parking in the courtyard at 5eur a night was very useful.

Once the aircon in the room was explained to us, everything else was perfect.

Spacious newly furbished room. If you like industrial, this is your place. Sound proofed, but if you love fresh air and have the window open: traffic starts early. Very friendly staff.

The food of the restaurant is poor quality. French cuisine has high standards and we had been delighted time and again in Brittanny, but here we were very disappointed. The hotel is a chain, maybe that’s why. The nearby restaurant The Stamp only serves fingerfood in the evening and that too is not good quality.

Next to the Gare SNCF and short walk to all local buses- so excellent location if travelling via or out of St Brieuc. Good buffet breakfast and excellent buffet dinner (fixed price) on weekday evenings. The latter is really good value for money but with excellent choice of mains; fish and meat, vegetables plus and pleasant starters and deserts.

Nothing material

Excellent room, clean, good breakfast, convenient location, off street parking at reasonable cost. What I have learned to expect from Campanile.

One or two staff were a little 'unenthusiatic' in their approach to guests (but some were v good). Don't understand the operation of policy of no reservation of parking spaces when some were - but we were not allowed to despite nine months prior request.

Smart, modern, bar, parking, central to town, air con, good size room, reasonable price. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked very plentiful.

Just a couple of minor things. Unnecessarily awkward front entrance from the car park meaning you have to loop round. Lack of instructions on how to turn on the lights in the room. We thought they weren't working at first as it was not the usual put key card in slot.

The hotel is well design with nice and super functional rooms and facilities. The staff is really nice and the position of the hotel is good enough to visit Saint Brieuc and the Côtes d'Armor. Good breakfast, nice restaurant and bar services.

The parking area could be improved because they have limited spaces available every day.

Room was based on the industrial style with concrete ceiling and wall. Very comfortable and very clean. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Would totally recommend.

While it was only a 7 or 8 minute walk to the town centre after dark the walk back to the hotel was not well lit or comfortable. Nothing to do with the hotel however.

The property is well located in front of train station but you don't hear that much noise. You are 15 min walk from the city center which is great. Finally, a wonderful staff who is very helpful and smiling . Big shout out to the Front desk team and specially one lady I don't remember her name but I think it starts with a T.
