This was by far the best decision we made on our trip to Brittany. Laurence was incredible. She had amazing recommendations of things to do and places to eat that were highlights of our trip. Including renting a car to drive around the coast and renting bikes for a day trip at l’île de Brehat. The breakfast was delicious and she was very accommodating for any requests. She even allowed me (a poor French speaker) to practice my french with her and was very kind about it.

There was nothing we disliked. The town of St. Brieuc is so so but there are beautiful places to look at the coast.

Room was comfortable (yes, the floorboards are a bit creaky, but that is to be expected in an historic house!) . The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast.

A kettle in the room would have been nice - there is one in the sitting room downstairs, but on holiday you like to to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the morining before getting up! The walk into St Brieuc is a 20 minute steep uphill walk, and most of the restaurants in town are shut on Sundays and Mondays. At the hosts' suggestion we drove to Rosaire-Plage (12 minutes drive away) and ate at the Cote Ouest and Le Rosaire. Not ideal to have to drive to your evening meal, but the food there is very good!

A wonderful location close to the river and backing onto fields and woods. The house is beautifully kept and our room was lovely with wooden floors, dual aspect windows and a well appointed shower room. The bed was, comfortable. spacious with beautiful damask style bed linen. We were close to the Port du Legue (20 minute walk) with some great restaurants and bars. The breakfast was very generous and Laurence and her husband were great hosts. We came on bicycle and there was a shed where we could store them overnight.

We loved everything. It is a beautiful property. The rooms are great and the hostess ,Laurence, is wonderful. Breakfast was excellent....we even had freshly made egg each morning and each morning a different sweet. We highly recommended staying here.

An unusual B & B set in an Old Paper Mill in St. Brieuc. The setting was very quiet and the house full of French Character. Our room was lovely (overlooking the gorgeous garden. Bathroom very clean and the Breakfast excellent ! Merci !

Lovely surprise, this Chambre d'Hotes is truly a gem. The garden is wonderful and the interiors are very curated and furnished. The hosts were the KINDEST and served a wonderful breakfast! If we had known, we had stayed longer!

Only a 20 - 25 minute walk into centre of town but up a very steep hill !

Very welcoming , friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely guest lounge. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast.

Just two comments : we would have liked some drawers or shelves for our clothes. in the bedroom There were none so apart from using the hanging rail, clothes had to stay in our cases. Also the house is much further away from restaurants and shops than we expected.

Room was nice and clean with a lot of space, also had a new bathroom which is again comfortable and very clean. We had a very packed schedule of traveling, so we could arrive the hotel almost midnight, and our kind hosts waited for us until that hour, thank you very much again for your help. Breakfast was also very good, delicious and big with a lot of food choices. Also, I don't know what products they use but the bed linens were smelling so clean and beautiful, from which you understand they are super clean and can have a great sleep if you are also like me, a bit obsessed with cleanliness of the bed you are sleeping in a hotel. You would be feeling very comfortable about it.

I couldn't find single use sleepers in the room, maybe I couldn't see but if they are not there I think it can be added

Nothing to complain about, however the location is off center, you need to drive as Saint Brieux is quite hilly
