Location is very good for exploring the area. The breakfast was good but the same every day and could be more adventurous with fresh fruit or such. Helpful host. The garden is large and very nice to have a glass of good St. Chinian wine in the afternoon.

The bathroom was minimal but functional. The towels were a bit rough from being line dried and older. Could use some more lights all around. Overall the whole building could use some maintenance but it is a classic and they are doing good work to keep it alive.

The owner was very sweet and welcoming. The back yard was peaceful and nice. I wish it had been warm enough to really spend some time out there to enjoy it.

The plastic bed cover under the sheets was a bit weird as it made noise when you moved. It would have been nice to have 4 pillows rather than two. Also it would have been nice to have some glasses and water pitcher in the room. The room was clean but the main area was pretty dusty. I’m sure it takes a lot to keep up a property of this size and I would say overall Michael does a great job. A

Michel is an excellent host and it was a great experience staying in his lovely home - its like stepping back into a Grand Age in France. There was good WiFi and lots of hot water. Coffee was available and if asked, Michel was happy to provide tea, hairdryer etc. He gave us some excellent touring tips. The house is in the centre of St Chinian and the parking is free in the main square.

Our room was spacious but the bed and bathroom perhaps better for one person. Michel offered me the choice of two rooms which was kind. Breakfast was typical continental - some fruit would be a great addition.

A very friendly and helpful host who always checked what we needed. Breakfast was great, with plenty to eat, and more offered if we needed it. The location was excellent: perfect for the town and local walks. The house itself was interesting with lots of fascinating things to look at.

The bed was a little soft for us and perhaps a bit small. The facilities were good, but we would have liked a door on the bathroom.

The house is old and odd but we liked it very much. we were passing through so we stayed literally only one night. the toilette was in a corner very original the door was specially made to fit the small space. the owner, was very kind and wanted to help the best he could and that was great we really felt welcome for those few hours.

nothing in particular I mean I would not say that I did not like it like something that bothered me, but the bathroom without doors was challenging. Another one was the jams, I think it is time to throw them out and make new ones, before you poison somebody. But we loved the chocolate at breakfast and frankly hot croissant, fresh bread and fresh orange juice, that was the top so difficult to complain.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of town and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great and ready on time each morning. Michel was very helpful during my stay. The facility had a nice courtyard that was pleasant to walk around.

Rooms tended to warm up when the sun was out, but this was fixed by opening the window.

It's an old house with a great vibe. We traveled with a child and booked the only room available which was a 2 persons room, but this was not a problem, as the host was very kind and helpful and prepared an extra bed for the kid. Breakfast was served in the back garden under a beautiful chestnut.

The bed with plastic protection under the sheet was not very comfortable.

Michel is a great host -- attentive to our interests and needs, full of ideas for whatever we wanted to do. We enjoyed getting to know him and appreciated the personal touch.
