The location was stunning - so peaceful and calm! The wine tasting was really enjoyable and just at the right level for us. The breakfast included the best croissant I've had in France over the past two weeks!

Being really picky, we were next to the shared kitchen and it might have been noisy, but as it was, only one other person used it and they were fairly quiet and it wasn't too early in the morning!

It was very enjoyable staying there, surrounded by the vineyards. A warm welcome and very helpful information about nearby restaurants. The open fire was a lovely at breakfast on an Autumn morning.

We liked everything, and seeing the happy hens outdoors was an added bonus.

Everything was phenomenal. We had such a wonderful time, seeing the vinyard and the cellars, having a wine tasting and enjoying the beautiful bedrooms. Everyone working there was incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful.

There was nothing not to like

Charming rural setting for a wonderful chateau! We spotted a red squirrel and heard cirl buntings and a bird of prey. Lots of wildflowers around the vineyard. Our host was most amiable and very engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed our degustation! We felt quite at home. We had everything we needed for an excellent stop off point to explore the area. Loved it.

A 1 night stay in this beautiful château. Fantastic service and a wonderful location. Very peaceful, we had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Came away with 12 bottles of their lovely wine. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything! The château, the room, the views, the breakfast, the wine tasting. Aurélie looked after us very well, from giving us recommandations to wine tasting and facilitating access to the kitchen for our evening picnic. The room is beautiful and light. The bed was very comfy and the shower over a bath very good too. A fan would have made the hot nights more comfortable. Beware mosquitoes are quiet but hungry, some form of deterrent in the room would be appreciated.

The continental breakfast selection was lovely We really enjoyed our private dining space and balcony. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The chateau was in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of car parking. Great wine tasting.

Nothing to improve on

A lovely property in an ideal location in the Loire Valley. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a free wine tasting thrown in, all in the magnificent setting of a chateau sitting in the middle of a vineyard.

There was nothing not to like.

Beautiful chateau surrounded by their vineyards. Breath taking views and great to be able to have a walk around the area. Old property full of character. Owner was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine which we enjoyed (and bought) as part of the wine tasting. Breakfast was cheese ham bread croissants fruit and yoghurt and was on the table ready for us to help ourselves. Big bottles of eco friendly refillable toiletries were a great touch

I didn’t realise the meal in the evening would be in glass dishes that we would need to microwave. It tasted ok but I expected home made food which would be served. Maybe they are doing this due to Covid ( to reduce contact)? The village is only a few minutes drive away which has restaurants if this isn’t for you

Beautiful chateau surrounded by vineyards. The room was large and comfortable and the hosts were very courteous. The location of the Chateau was terrific for the nearby Loire

Breakfast was a large shared table with all other guests - who all happened to be lovely but as someone who is not terribly sociable first thing in the morning that wasn’t my favourite set up
