Everything. The location, the welcome, the friendliness, the room, the food, the service, the cooking expertise, the knowledge of the staff, the wine selection (in their hands, entirely), the parking facilities, the seclusion, the breakfast, the attention to detail and everything else. I can't say enough about it! Merci beaucoup a nos hotes, Armelle et Charles!

I didn't like that I hadn't known about the place earlier. If ever you are in the Anjou, or in or near Angers itself, it is well worthwhile the trip out to Behiard to visit l'Audacieuse. Don't expect a huge menu or fast food, expect the best of French cooking from an expert!

Words can not describe the greatness of our stay. Everything amazing - the room size, bathroom, cleanliness, decoration, location in this charming little village on the Loire island. And the hosts were the chapter of its own - they even took the time to cook dinner only for us, they actually made us feel as home. I will keep this review short - please stay there if you are visiting Loire, it is definitely worth while!

Absolutely nothing to complain to.

L'Audacieuse is located in a very pretty village beside the Loire and our room had a great view of the chapel which appears to grow out of a rock. The couple who own it are charming and are excellent hosts and excellent cooks - we loved having dinner on the decking overlooking their garden. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds and a great shower. It was a great stay and I would happily return.

It was absolutely beautiful, the location and the property, and the hosts were exceptional, they waited up very late until we arrived as we had missed our ferry, would definitely recommend and would love to visit again. We didn’t arrive in time for dinner but the menu looked amazing, thank you.

The setting on the island of Behuard in the middle of the Loire is attractive and unusual. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful and our rooms well appointed and comfortable. The set evening meal was exceptional and the breakfast generous and beautifully presented.

Wonderful stay. Was greeted with an unexpectedly warm welcome from the lovely hosts. The room was so nice and clean with a great view of the little village, and the home-cooked dinner was equally good. Perfect for a motorcycle tour stopover, or more!

What a place. There is no chance you are going to regret staying - and dining - here. Your memory will be confusing every Hilton, Mercure, 4* hotel you stay in, but you will be remembering this place and your hosts forever. Must go.

Very nice restaurant and chambre d'hote wirhin a tiny, picturesque village on an island of the Loire. The hosts are really lovely and most welcoming, and they also run the delicious little restaurant. Advance booking is mandatory...

Not so easy to find the route to the parking in front of the restaurant -you need to go around the village and come in from the back- and the road within the village is very narrow.

Superb - everything from the very welcoming owners to the beautifully prepared and cooked evening meals and breakfasts. Our room was very comfortable with lovely decor and super shower room. We were made most welcome and would definitely return again.

We liked everything….nothing we didn’t like.

The room was located in a new extension of a historical building with a nice garden in the center of a little village. Room and bathroom were modern and in perfect condition, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and of best quality. Armelle is a very nice host making our stay comfortable and pleasant.
