The hotel has a good structure and is well sited in the middle of the village, but out of noise and with a nice garden front of the rooms.The staff is gentle and gave us useful tips. The breakfast has good regional products and gave us strenght for the day-hikings.

Unfortunatelly the hotel restaurant (well reported) was closed from Sunday to Monday, exactly the period we were there, as well as most of the city restaurants, something the hosts should take care.

We loved the location of this property as well as the facilities. The staff were all excellent and exceptionally helpful and friendly! Even Lucky the dog!

We had booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 and our children were on the second floor and we were on the first, so it wasn’t as convenient as it could have been, but it wasn’t a huge issue.

A convenient place to stop for the night. Clean spacious but basic rooms. Decent breakfast.

Whilst we all loved the dog who greets you and chats, the lobby does smell of the dog! The restaurant and gardens were closed which was a shame. The staff helped us to find a restaurant and booked it but failed to tell us there were two restaurants of the same name. We were very late for our reservation as it was a long walk from the hotel!

This is a charming old school hotel at the foot of the mountains in a lovely alpine village. I am sure it has hosted generations of skiers over the years. It is full of period posters and photographs of skiers and past alpine life. I had a lovely room with a balcony and a view of the mountains and the staff were charming on arrival. There is a good car park and lovely bars and restaurants nearby.

Tiny separate toilet - very difficult to negotiate! Also, I had booked the hotel because it had a good restaurant, but after booking I found that is was closed at the time of our stay.

The setting was stunning, great location especially as we were following the TdF.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, had to stand in a corner of the room to try to get reception. Disappointing that the restaurant was closed as that was one reason we chose this accommodation.

The hotel has a family feel which we really liked. It felt very personal and staff both in the hotel were friendly. Due to an accident, i was unable to check in as planned but upon phoning the hotel, they did everything they could to make our stay possible and staff were aware of the circumstances upon arrival, which showed impressive, personal level of service. It seems the rooms have been renovated and the room, réception area and grounds have a lovely haven like feel which is perfect for families and couples.

We had a lovely stay the room was comfortable staff friendly breakfast delicious and the dinner at the Restaurant on our last night was outstanding.

It would have been great to have a small fridge and kettle in room to be able to make yourself a cup of tea etc apart from that nothing negative re our stay.

Really good breakfast buffet with good service for individual requests and varied selection. Very comfortable room and space enough to put everything. Lovely location with good access to scenic walks and not too busy at this time of year, end of May, first week in June. Very clean.

I do not eat meat and would have liked the cheese option kept separate from the meat option at breakfast. We ate at the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and I would have liked some varied salad options on the evening menu too. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and only realised a couple of days before when trying to book a table that the restaurant was not open on Sunday evening. It was probably my mistake at not checking earlier. We had one very helpful hotel waiter who helped me with my non meat options throughout the stay which made a difference. Requested help to manage the safe option in the room but nothing happened for some reason?

Room was nicely set up for skiers with plenty of space to store and dry boots and clothing and accompanying luggage.

No sauna or hot tub.
