Perfect location in the countryside surrounded by wildlife and birdsong. Great little pool with many sitting areas and comfy chairs. Excellent breakfast tray and in your room there are prepared dishes you can microwave if you don’t want to go out to eat. Easy access to Stes Maries de la Mer if you do. So peaceful and ideal for relaxation, alone time or couple time. Great shower and comfy bed. The rooms are characterful rather than modern.

A farmhouse located in the most bucolic setting, surrounded by marshes, flowers, and trees. The hostess has 4 beautiful horses on the property. Great place to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature.

It is remote. One has to either drive in a car or walk 12 min to the bus stop at Pioch Badet and take the A50 bus (to either Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mar or Arles). The bus runs about once per hour. Any guided tour will depart from Avignon and will require taking the A50 bus from Pioch Badet to Arles SNCF, and then a train from Arles to Avignon.

We recently spent four wonderful nights at a charming B&B in the heart of Camargue National Park, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a beautiful and tranquil setting, the B&B offered us a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning natural surroundings. We were enchanted by the sight of the iconic white horses of Camargue and the diverse array of wild birds that made the area their home. Every moment spent outdoors was a feast for the senses and a peaceful retreat into nature. Melissa, our host, was exceptional. She was attentive, welcoming, and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The property itself was impeccably clean, reflecting the care and pride she takes in her establishment. The B&B also features a lovely pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was the perfect spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The vibrant seaside town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer was just a short 10-minute drive away, the town offered a lively atmosphere with several excellent restaurants and some fantastic places with live music. It was the ideal place to dine and soak in the local culture. Overall, our stay at the B&B in Camargue National Park was a delightful experience. The combination of a peaceful setting, attentive hospitality, and convenient location made it a perfect getaway. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and nature-filled retreat.

Breakfast at the B&B was mostly delightful, featuring home-made jams, fresh bread, and high-quality cheese and meats. However, the only small criticism we have is regarding the juice. Given the overall level of the breakfast, we were a bit surprised to find that the juice was out of a bottle. Freshly squeezed juice would have been a welcome touch and aligned better with the rest of the high-quality offerings.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming farm, and it was an unforgettable experience. The farm is home to beautiful white horses that roam freely, adding a magical touch to the serene landscape. The tranquility of the surroundings is truly remarkable, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The host was incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to assist with a warm smile. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable, ensuring that every need was met with care and attention.

Mas Fandelou is in an idyllic countryside location just 5 minutes from the Pont de Gau bird sanctuary. The owner was very helpful and welcoming, and served up an amazing breakfast. The room was lovely, the bathroom very modern, and there was a range of drinks and snacks available at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed wandering around the grounds looking at the birds and the beautiful Camargue white horses. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

The only thing the was a little disconcerting was the lack of a door on the bathroom (it's an open arch).

We loved our stay at Mas Fandelo. It is a beautifully maintained property full of birds, white horses, pretty lake, gorgeous plants and flowers. Only 5 minutes’ drive to the Parc Ornithologique where we saw so many flamencos. Around the corner is a wonderful Pizza restaurant “La Regie”, possibly the best pizza we’ve had. Melissa was a wonderful welcoming host. Breakfast was amazing and she shared much about her life in Camargue and the horses. Highly recommend!

This is without doubt one of my favourite ever locations - Simply spectacular, wild white horses and pink flamingos all around - wow! The whole experience is one of tranquility and relaxation from the room to the pool. A super breakfast in nature with the sound of nature all around. Comfortable bed and a great bathroom set up. If it's an adult only peaceful environment that you crave then this is simply a must visit.

If only we could come back here with our dogs......but I understand why we can't too.

Warm welcome by Melissa, beautiful comfortable room with private terrace, swimming pool, lovely copious breakfast, great restaurant 2 mins away, well stocked fridge and pantry if feeling like a night in, close proximity to the ornithological park well pretty much everything 🙂. We wished we could stay longer!

Beautiful tranquil setting. White horses, birds, frogs! Such a peaceful experience. Melissa was an exceptional host and worked hard to make our stay so enjoyable. The whole place is spotlessly clean. We would not stay anywhere else. The restaurant near the entrance to the property was also good for pizza/salad etc. if you do not want to go into st mairies.

We loved everything

The location was beautiful - very quiet but easily accessed. Our room was lovely and we particularly enjoyed having air-con as the temperature was in the mid 30s. Excellent breakfast. Charming and helpful host.
