Such a wonderful place to stay. Anne-Sophie and David make you feel so welcomed, nothing is too much trouble. They are so kind and generous. We stayed for 6 days. A number of other guests used it as an overnight stay whilst they were traveling the area. Many by bicycle. They were equally surprised by the "gem" they had found. So, we like the hosts, met some lovely interesting people during our stay. The pool is fab, especially with the roaring temperatures that week. Great to cool off in and dry off in the sun and then sit back in the shade to chill. Breakfast was so good. Every morning, fresh croissants, bread, jams and freshly prepared fruit. Freshly squeezed orange juice. All eaten overlooking the beautiful gardens. Would highly recommend this place if you are after a quiet relaxed stay, where you can just read a book or something when not exploring the local area. There are many places to visit all within about 30min drive. Local town 10mins with stone great eateries. Supermarkets (choice of 2) 5 mins.

Not a problem for me. But notes for others. Lots of steps, so may not be easy for the less mobile. You are near a river, so bring insect repellent when it's hot.

A hidden gem! When you walk down the steps it's like entering a fairytale world. The hosting couple are very friendly and accommodating and will go to great length to make sure your stay is perfect. The salty swimming pool is very nice after a warm day and the little sauna complex looked very professional and nice. Breakfast is tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary fruit salad, partly from their own garden.

Lovely traditional property. Large garden with shaded seating areas. Small pool. Secure parking for bikes. Close to the town and cycle path. Very peaceful. Lovely breakfast on the terrace.Sophie is a great host.Room has air conditioning

In a quiet area but very convenient for motorway to/from North West Spain and Portugal. Friendly hosts and an excellent room. At our request the hosts booked a table at a local restaurant for our evening meal

Lovely en-suite double room in a beautiful house. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Our host was very friendly and offered to book dinner for us at a local restaurant prior to arrival if required. Only stayed for one night as a stop over but would love to return and stay for longer to explore the local area on our bikes

We arrived in searing heat, so the air conditioning was very welcome. They booked us an evening meal nearby. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was good, particularly the boiled eggs- don't miss them.

Beautiful home and a very comfortable room. Close to the pretty town where we had a good dinner. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to a return visit.

House located on a side road which is easy to miss.

The property was lovely! The hostess welcoming! After a long day traveling she offered us dinner but we asked for something light. She brought us a beautifully presented charcuterie with wine followed by tea. It was so relaxing after a full day. It was an Absolutely perfect stay here!

A very comfortable little hotel with great facilities and a most genial host, set in beautiful grounds ideal for relaxing during your stay. Booked very last minute but it was all fine.

The hosts were super helpful and kind to us, we really felt at home. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The property is a dream, it has an amazing garden and a really nice pool area. The breakfast was fantastic with homemade delicious jams. We were sad to leave and will definitely come back!
