Where do i start. Well the location the hotel/ resturant is set in the beautiful french countryside one could say a million miles for anywhere such is the hotel situated in a beaautiful hamlet of Lugos. We sat outside for pur evening outside under the canopy of stunning trees. Meal was perpared by the owner and was so tastey i recommend anyone visiting to enjoy their evening meal at the hotel. Staff and chef were very attentive and offerered good advice comcerning each dish. Second time we visted this hotel and it certainly wont be the last

Warm welcome by the chef Vincente booked us in for the room and evening meal understanding what vegan means. The risotto he made for us was wonderful. All the food we witnessed being served looked amazing. Breakfast was equally thought through, delicious bread and homemade jams with fruit salad. A wonderful gem to discover . The room was French chic, the building rustic and welcoming.

Nothing it was my kind of perfect

Fantastic breakfast, served by very pleasant staff. The owners are always charming, and the restaurant is good. The outdoor restaurant under the plane trees is lovely. Nice quite village for a good night's sleep, and close enough to the motorway if you're in transit. It's very good value for money.

Some of the rooms need updating, and this is happening slowly. The wifi's slow. But this is reflected in the accommodation price. Gradually the owners are updating.

Gorgeous property, amazing trees (plane) and an amazing restaurant. The rooms were small, clean and the bathrooms were small too, but worked great. (I'm pretty tall, 2 mtrs 6'8").

Really have to think hard here. There was a moment during the afternoon 3 fightjets passed over, and there was a small road in front of the property which had slight traffic during peak hours (really not very much tho) and the restaurant, which was amazing, was not that cheap (duh). The owner was very forthcoming, the staff was super friendly. Not having anything to complain to be honest.

What a fantastic find wonderful place that is slightly off the beaten track but was only 15 minutes from the main A63 parking which was good considering we were in a very large van, one thing I have to look for when booking somewhere. We required accommodation for our overnight stop, the three of us each requiring a room, they accommodated us by placing two in the main building & the third out in one of the maisonettes, all three rooms were warm, clean, tidy & adequate for our needs. We had an evening meal in the restaurant & the food was well presented & tasted fantastic with several good glasses of red to wash it all down. The next morning, we had a very enjoyable breakfast before heading off on our travels. Staff went out of their way to help make our stay the best it could be.

Well if there was anything it would be a lick of paint & change of wallpaper, which in all fairness they have started to do. As one of our rooms was freshly painted & up-to-date, you can see they are working hard to make changes & improvements

Wonderful little hotel set in small town amid beautiful countrside. The staff were excellent and the food was exceptional.

This is not a complain. Perhaps the room was small and basic but it had everything one needs in a hotel for an over night stop. The staff, food and location to the motorway made up for any shortcomings in the room.

Absolutely Brilliant place!!!! The lodge was everything you would expect for the price. I have read in comments that the terrace was nice and cosy and indeed it was, on top of that the food was really excellent. So good after a whole day of driving ,just arrive in an oasis of peace and calm and experience south of France at it`s best. I will return if Im around, for sure to eat there again under the trees. thx a lot . Nick

Lovely couple running it, unfortunately for us restaurant was closed and so was the bar for our stay. Our room was lovely, up some very steep stairs, breakfast was amazing, great choice and best hot chocolate

A bit remote, nothing around except a bakery.

Very handy for the motorway. Amazing food served in the dappled shade of two big plane trees. Our room, 10, was basic but more than adequate for an overnight stop. Shower was warm with plenty of water, bed comfortable and the welcome was warm and friendly.

Very quaint, rural, rustic venue slightly off the beaten track. Clean accomodation with everything we needed for our one night stopover. Lovely outdoor dining area & good bar/cafe (sadly restaurant closed when we stayed we stayed) good coffee & great Belgium beer. Lovely host (Vincent).

Perfect for us - maybe a light curtain at the window of our room as could be lacking privacy
