Jacques gave us a warm welcome. Each room was decorated with a different theme, ours being nautical. A lot of thought and care had clearly gone into it. Excellent and generous breakfast, with much home-made produce including the best goats cheese ever! Fnding nearby restaurants with vegetarian options was not easy but we managed. It was good being able to park the car in a drive that was protected by a strong gate and to have a key to open and close the gate remotely. Would definitely stay again.

Jacques is a wonderful host at this quiet, modern gîte in Le Teich, and he provided much really useful information about the area and transport options. The stylish room was very comfortable with a wonderful terrace and access to the lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice. Overall a superb B&B option with easy access to Arcachon.

This was a gorgeous find, tucked away in a leafy neighbourhood near the bird reserve. Jacques is a superb host. Lifts offered to and from the station; free bikes; fridge in the room; lovely poolside tables; privacy between the rooms; excellent shower; comfy beds; loan of books and maps; cutest in-house dog ever. Delicious fresh breakfasts which vary each day. It's rare to see such consistently good reviews, but you can definitely see why. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in France.

Beautiful room, very nice decor. Lovely host, who gave us helpful information about surrounding Areas. Breakfast was an amazing selection of fresh produce. Enjoyed use for the, free bicycles and meeting the little friendly dog. Attention to detail throughout.

Absolutely wonderful sejour at the Rives du Bassin! Jacques is an excellent host who will go above and beyond to make his guests feel comfortable and at home! Breakfast was excellent, including homemade cakes, every morning. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with lovely decorations. The property is very calm. Jacques lent us two bikes (for free) to explore the region as well as providing with good information about what to visit, where to eat and how to get there. As we were leaving very early (before the breakfast time), the evening before Jacques prepared a bag with pastries and cake for us to take with us on the road. Absolutely wonderful long weekend, would be happy to stay longer. Thank you!

Jacques the host is very friendly and helpful. He helped us with local train tickets and lent us bikes for the whole week. The breakfast was amazing - very generous with a wide variety of many things on offer. Great stay I can highly recommend it

Le Teich is a small town so not many restaurants are open during the week
