We loved this property and regret only staying one night. The room was splendid, like a little cottage, overlooking the beautiful back garden of the host property, with a heated swimming pool. Tatiana is charming, always smiling and very helpful. Breakfast was perfectly continental, with the offer of tea and scrambled eggs, as well. We wouldn't hesitate to spend more time there, when we next visit France. There are plenty of good restaurants, a short drive away and one, 4 minutes walk away (closed on Wednesdays).

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, just the fact that we didn't stay long enough.

Located in a small town away from the coast but in easy reach of the coast, Nausicaa, etc. There are only 2 guest rooms, which makes the stay very personal. The garden is amazing, with lots of places to sit and beautifully lit in the evening. The heated swimming pool is a very nice plus. The outdoor kitchen and barbecue seem great as well - although we did not use it. Tatiana is super friendly, very welcoming as from the 1st second (but also attentive to leave you alone to settle in). Got quite a few great tips for the area to visit. We really need to return soon to go see all that! And to see the new outdoor bird aviary when it is finished :)

We did not really find a good restaurant in the little town, mostly kebab places. But was also due to the fact that we were there on a Monday-Tuesday when restaurants tend to be closed.

The host was super friendly and very helpful, providing us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty of it. The beds were really comfy.

We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open, as Booking.com had stated it would be when we booked. We would probably not have paid what we did if we had known the pool was unavailable. Also, the stairs to the mezzanine level are very very steep, so it would benefit from a stair gate at the top, as we were concerned about our three year old falling down them.

From booking to leaving this was a pleasure. The hoste couldn’t do more to help, from providing a booking at the local restaurant (which was great and close) to making sure we felt welcome when we arrived through to providing an amazing breakfast. The room was also ideal for a family to sleep in, comfy beds, with great blackout. We will definitely return.

It was a very hot day and after a 260 mile motorcycle & ferry trip it was lovely & relaxing to have a dip in the pool . Our hostess was extremely friendly & hospitable & greeted us with a cold bottle of beer. There was a fast food outlet near by. Would heartily recommend & would definitely stay there again, especially as the property is securely gated for motorcycles. Thanks so much for a fantastic start to our Portugal road trip.

We all liked everything about the property

Wonderful welcoming owner of a fabulously appointed family home with so many interesting things to look at, not least a great garden with heated pool and night-time illuminations. Such a shame that bad weather prevented us from enjoying the outdoor space. Breakfasts were also lovely with everything we required. The well appointed bedrooms had ensuite facilities including fridge and microwave. Excellent beds and quality bed linen with goose down pillows and duvets.

Two minor issues - the entrance hall and dining room had a strong odour of the families pet dogs. The towels were not changed during our stay and the bad weather meant they did not fully dry during the day.

Tatiana was an excellent host. We had never used a chambre d'hote before but this was amazing. For those who dont know. It's a place where you get a private room and breakfast but other people stay their too similar to a B&B but nice. Breakfast amazing The pool was fantastic the garden was beautiful with several individual areas. Tatiana went out of her way to make us comfortable. She ensured our 2 year old was spoilt with toys and pool toys. The rooms are very comfortable with nespresso machines and english TV. We have already booked our next stay. The out foor cooking areas are very high standard and tger local town 5 mins walk has several good options for evening meals.

Beautiful property, clean and modern with top standard amenities. Very welcoming hosts, she even kindly worked out an itinerary for us to do all the things we wanted to do. The hosts clearly have a love for hosting, for their carefully looked after property and for their region. Breakfast could not have been better. Will book it again and again

Wish we had stayed longer

Tatiana was a wonderful host even with the language barrier. The property is beautiful, the pool area, bedrooms, lounge, everything. Huge bar selection. Breakfast was wonderful, she made special Gluten free food for us. We would have liked to stay longer.

A great stop - over for returning to the UK as it was an easy drive to Calais. A clean, comfortable room , fabulous swimming pool and a welcoming , kind host . Easy walk into the local village for an evening meal. Breakfast at the property was delicious too.
