Very clean room. Comfortable beds. The kids loved the room set up (family room for 2 adults and 2 kids). Fresh linen. Good breakfast. Good coffee & croissants :) Super nice and friendly staff, also gave, upon request, recommendations of restaurants in the city. We are at one of these and food was great. Check out at 12:00. Easy check in and self check out. Shower worked great. Water was perfectly hot, no issues with water temperature or pressure. Safe parking. I recommend the place if you don’t mind having a rather small room, but very clean and with a good breakfast option plus certainty the shower experience will be good.

I did not know the rooms are accessible directly from outside, but this was in fact not an issue. The breakfast space is not too big, there were lots of visitors when we stayed there and things were a bit crammed. But it was still ok.

Great value for money and only 30 minutes from tunnel. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and perfect for a night inter before going through to uk. Bathroom was ok with shower/hair gel. Air con in room and no noise so good night sleep. Food and breakfast available at the hotel if needed but it is a walking distance, 5 min from Buffalo grill and McD as well as big shops where you can buy all sorts, including food. Wifi worked, managed to watch a film on our tablet.

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned and towels replaced every day. It was conveniently situated for sightseeing in Boulogne and for exploring the coastline - e.g. visits to Cap Blanc Nez, beach and cliff walks etc and a lovely nearby town of Hardelot.

The room was a little bit too small, quite dark and not very warm. There wasn't much of a choice in restaurants nearby, so it was necessary to drive somewhere unless we walked into Boulogne city centre.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and they also offer a packed lunch. The car park was secure and the location was very good with lots of restaurants near by.

Our twin room was a little small with not much room to pass by the bottom of the bed to reach the bathroom.

I’ve been staying at Boulogne B&B Hotel for years, it always lives up to my expectations…except for two things (see below)

The duvets are too thick & heavy for summer months, I never sleep well because I am too hot. Years ago the sheets & blankets could be adjusted. The second dislike is the ridiculous rigmarole for logging in to the wifi, why do I need to go through it three times when staying for one night because I keep getting logged out without being remembered, & why is it now such a lengthy logging in process to get connected, I have to keep repeating my email. I seem to remember a few years ago all I needed to do was put in the room number, door code & my email (once), that was easy back then.

Well I’ve stayed several times a year for at least two decades, it is convenient for getting the ferry next day. A pity the Court Paille restaurant has shut down though.

The duvets are too hot! That is why I down marked the comfort. The heater in the room didn’t work. The whole place is a bit old & tired but I was glad to see redecorating work being done outside.

The beds were so comfy! The room was so well laid out! We travelled as a family from the tunnel, it was so easy to get to and after a long drive from Wales checking in was a breeze! We stayed there on our way home too and had the exact same level of comfort, friendly staff and cleanliness! Well exceeded our expectations for being our rest gap of travelling! would defiantly recommend!

property was a little older than our B&B hotel the previous night so the building not quite so modern but ground floor room more than made up for that

Excellent location,(one minute from the A16,in close proximity to restaurants). Only saw one member of staff but he was very good,friendly and efficient. Room was perfect for our needs: (transit stop for motorcyclists).Plenty of clothes hanging space,bathroom big enough,good shower.Very clean throughout,and good value.

The breakfast was surprisingly extensive for a low budget hotel,(didn't expect bacon,scrambled egg and sausages),but the sausages were awful in our,(British lol),collective opinion,the bacon could be a little crispier.Minor thing though,as there were a couple of cereal options and the usual delicious croissants/bread etc.Oh yes and the security gate needs fixing,(bikers are paranoid about security).No real complaints though,we liked it there and will definitely use this hotel again.
