We had a wonderful 2 night stay and could happily have been longer. The layout of the apartment was perfect for our family of four and our friend enjoyed her stay in a double room too. The kitchen was well equipped, enabling us to have breakfasts and a meal together - and we loved the small seating area. The bedrooms were a comfortable size and the bathroom layout worked well. The location was a short walk from town and the aquarium. The fore-warned building activity didn't affect us at all, just made some of the entry and parking a bit unlevel.

Firstly all the staff were really helpful and friendly. They never made us feel bad for not speaking French. Simple check in Comfortable room Great location Our room type was apartment with bedroom & 2 single beds. This was a little confusing pre booking, but if it helps, you get a room with a double bed and a window and a twin bed room with no window (the hotel call this a corner room) Provided with dishwasher tablets, washing go liquid and scouring pad. Microwave has a grill. Think it’s worth mentioning that local restaurants opened for lunch then closed again till 1830. On Sunday supermarkets all closed by about 1300.

Lack of parking. When they say the parking is reserved for a fee, they actually mean you have to reorganise this with them. Didn’t really like having to clean the room and strip the beds before our early morning departure The water pressure was poor But - with all that said, we’d stay again and we’d recommend.

We only stayed one night as a stop over to calais to get the ferry back to the UK. We're a family of 6. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great. It was a 35-minute drive to calais. There's a boulangerie across the road that opens at 5 am. I agree with the other reviews about the €200 security deposit being taken. We were not made aware of this prior to our visit. It was refunded back with no issue, but I feel it should be made clear when booking. Other than that negative, I couldn't fault anything.

We travelled from England that evening with our dog so wanted somewhere close to Calais for an overnight before our long drive south. We were on the 6th floor in a 3 bedroom apartment - Compact but ideal for an overnight. It was such a hot evening we slept with the doors open so we could hear the seagulls! Once it cooled and we closed the doors it was so quiet. They did provide an A/C unit in the room too which was good as it was really hot.

Car park was so dusty and small but secure. As we arrived so late, we struggled to find anywhere to eat. There is building work going on so not pretty to walk around - we did know this when booking.

bed broke and we asked for it to be fixed whilst we were out and about this didn't happen after a few other requests for it to be fixed someone came and checked it and we were moved to a similar room tricky to find as there are building works so better signage will be great

The size of the room was great and the location was perfect for our trip. We were going to visit the WWI graveyard the next day and wanted to stay overnight in the port near the center. We had an elderly family member with us so walking was an issue hence the close location choice. The room was really big and had a fully fitted kitchen plus on-site parking. Perfect for our needs.

Nothing!Everything was perfect.

Our apartment had a front facing balcony with a superb view over the marina and Boulogne itself. It was a very modern apartment and building and, when we visited anyway, quiet at night-time. We were placed on the top floor with two small children which worried me initially but, as I had requested a quiet room, I think the staff were just being helpful by placing us in the quietest part of the Hotel. Overall it was a really nice place to stay.

Bedrooms are on the small side.

Overall, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with enough dishes, glasses and other tools. Additionally, the hotel provided a baby cot, a high chair and even a bus tap for a baby for free. Good for a family with a small child.

I asked a car parking on the day before my arrival, and then I paid 10EUR per night. It was OK, it’s underground and accessible to the hotel directly. However, there were also free parking lots outside, just in front of the hotel… might be better to be mentioned these facts before booking or paying the fee.

Nice clean appartment but smaller than expeced based on the photo's. Location and views were nice but not much activity in the marina in this time of the year. Great fish shop not far from the location.

The breakfast (optional) was far from complete. We choose to go to the local bakery and supermarket.

Quick check in and staff were very helpful. Property was clean and homely, perfect space for our family of five to spend the night. Every thing we needed to feel at home. Over all lovely stay.

Work still being done around the property so our view from balcony was of a building site. But once all work is completed, I’m sure it will all look brilliant!
