The accommodation is in an incredible location, an old house full of charm opposite the village castle. The room was quiet and spacious, and the person who welcomed us was very kind.

The rooms, especially the bathroom, would need freshening up. Furthermore, it was not possible to lock the door to the room (there was only us and another couple, so it wasn't a problem, but it might bother some people). In addition, our room led to another bedroom that was a bit run-down and had an unmade bed in it, which was a bit strange.

I couldn’t imagine a more charming place to stay. The accommodations were very comfortable, with a lovely garden to relax in and an unbelievable patio with jaw-dropping views of the town. Would happily recommend and would absolutely stay again.

No a/c, which did get warm on an evening when storms rolled in and windows had to remain closed. Otherwise pure perfection.

Great view. I spent time on a chair on the terrace. It was a very relaxing time. The lady stuff were very friendly and welcoming. She was kind and try to help me on everything during my stay. It was just one day but I felt home and relaxed thanks to that.

I knew it so it was not a problem, but it need to be recognized before your stay that it’s not a fully renovated type of hotel. We can enjoy the history of the property. But it’s well cleaned.

ONLY ONE BEDSHEET PROVIDED, NOT TWO. MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE. EXCELLENT COFFE. BUT FOR BREAKFAST ONE GOES TO ONE OF THE MANY CAFEES, A HUNDRED YARDS AWAY.

Perfect location, 2 minutes by foot from the old centre and a good selection of well-priced restaurants. Magnificent view from the garden terrace. Old-fashioned charm.

Perhaps better shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom would be a good idea. Or guests should know to bring their own.

Charming hosts in a spectacular family heritage property! Standard B&B facilities, just from a century or two ago! The view from the bedroom, the bathroom and the garden balcony were amazing! Luc and Cecilie were amazing hosts.

Great location in the centre of the village. Lovely helpful host. Breakfast was typical French and very good, proper coffee!

As the hotel does not have a sign outside it is difficult to find. I would as the host for clear directions as the village has many one-way roads you end up going round in circles. Host was excellent and came to our rescue.

A tv would have been nice

This is one of my very favorite stays with Booking. Cecile is an adorable, welcoming hostess and a great artist. Staying in this old mansion with lovely wood furnishings was such a treat. The views of ancient towers along the river was breathtakingly picturesque....birds singing as the morning sun came up. Finding security and calm in the heart of an old walled city was such a treat. The outdoor patio with its panaramic view is more than you can imagine. When I entered the ancient doorway, I said to Cecile, "I haven't even stayed here yet, and I want to return." My opinion never changed.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a quaint village and loved the morning we spent there. We only had a night here, but it was a memorable moment to wake up to such a lovely view. The host was very accommodating and gave us a very friendly introduction.
