Very interesting property in the very center of Sisteron. This is a medieval structure, skillfully renovated and decorated. We got a comfortable suite, large and very well equipped (including a jacuzzi and a huge TV). The host is very nice and helpful.

We were fine with everything, but for older persons, the stairs are steep, and there is no elevator (impossible to install in such an old house). However, Madame Sophie has another accommodation, the "Cottage" where access to the rooms is much easier.

Air conditioning and fan very good. Nice welcome by host. Easy bike storage with charging points in vacant room next door. Excellent location in centre of town but quiet street. Fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine in room. Good hot water and pressure in shower. Large fluffy bath towels and bathrobes. Lovely bed linen. Large flat screen TV.

No safe in room.

Perfect location to the citadel, restaurants and shops in the historical town. Beautiful property with beautiful lounge and breakfast areas, although we didn't have breakfast, we had coffee in the lounge area. Sophie and Dominique were fantastic hosts.

The shower tap dripped loudly but we worked out how to leave the head on the floor to stop the noise.

Loved the room, great space and ambiance. Very romantic and comfortable. The scent was also great (diffusers and candles). The receptionist was lovely and very welcoming - attention to detail and he had good restaurant recommendations. Overall a great place - will come again!

The location was fantastic and right in the centre of Sisteron. We were very lucky as we found a parking space in the nearby square which had free parking for the 48 hrs we were there for. Sophie was very charming and the hotel was immaculate.

If we hadn’t found our parking space, it could have been a problem as it’s all on street parking.?

Very sophisticated flair - someone paid a lot of attention to detail, with an extremely good taste.

The room we had was cosy, beautiful but only had a tiny window. At this time of year and as it was raining outside, no big deal. In summer, this would have been unfortunate.

Very stylish, comfortable boutique hotel. Beautiful decor. Ancient higgledy-piggledy building.

Ill-fitting sliding door to the bathroom in our suite meant no privacy. Broken loo seat. Plastic plants in pots everywhere.

Location is superb, in the middle of the town. The decor is very attractive and the breakfast was comprehensive and delicious.

There is no direct vehicle access to the property and cars must be parked in a public carpark, approximately 50 m away

Sophie provided a wonderful stay in her beautiful hotel. Every thought was taken in the décor and the experience. It was a wonderful stay and we will recommend to everyone.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian street off the main road and is therefore pretty quiet. The room was charming and very personalised, not the bland décor of a big chain hotel. The bed was large and comfortable. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. There was closed parking available (a short walk away).

The hotel was advertised as having air-conditioning, but our room didn't. Fortunately the ceiling fan and a couple of free-standing floor fans were sufficient for us. The bathroom was tiny, with a tiny shower cubicle.
