The location was picked based around our plans of watching the Criterium du Dauphine, (which passed by the property for the individual time trial stage). The staff were fantastic and the location was really pleasant. The A/C and swimming pool were most welcome for the mid 30C heat, at the time. The food needs to be covered on it's own. Breakfast was lovely, absolutely all I love about French breakfasts. The fresh local cherries were a special treat. The evening meal was on it's own level though. French cuisine sets a high bar and this was the best I had on my latest trip to France. The options were just right 3-5 choices per course. Each course I had was superb, the scallops risotto were exceptional.

This was even better than expected from the other reviews - don't be put off by the slightly tired exterior! The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is refreshing and gardens are lovely. The food is excellent and the staff were delightful. Perfect stop over on our way back up north!

Dear sir/madam, can you please clarify something for us that I realized this morning: I think too much money was taken from our credit card. We paid with the card 320 euro while the total bill was only 230 euro (room and lovely dinner). Thank you very much.

A really lovely stay. Everyone worked really hard to make sure every guest was happy. The facilities were great, the pool was really Good, the grounds were beautiful and the guests were equally nice too. Highly Recommend

The bedroom was lovely and felt luxurious, however there was no view from our room - so don't believe booking.com's description.

Dinner service was chaotic - the food was good but the staff had no idea where any dish was going .

The restaurant was excellent, the town and the caves were beautiful, the ambiance of the hotel is gorgeous.

The water quality of the pool was poor, the shower in the bathtub could be renewed

Interconnecting room was a real bonus. Appreicated having the option to eat at the property. Welcome was very friendly and the hosts took the time to show us around.

Post-covid staffing is problem for many in the hospitality industry. They were clearly short staffed for dinner service and as a result it was a little slow.
