The room is in an amazing location in a beautiful square. Parc Jouvet, as well as the train station, museum, and shopping center are all within easy walking distance. The room is gorgeous inside! It has charming, old-fashioned decor with modern facilities for the bathroom. The owner responded to my questions very quickly. I would go back to Valence just for the pleasure of staying here again!

The Chambre de charme au coeur du vieux is located within the historical centre of Valence, in a quiet square close to Place des Clercs. There are several bars and restaurants located nearby. It is convenient for travelling by public transport and is less than 10 mins walk from Gare de Valence Ville. The apartment is spacious and is very tastefully furnished. It is an excellent place to stay for a night or two to explore Valence, or for an overnight stop-off on a longer journey.

There are only a few minor disadvantages. The apartment is upstairs, with no lift available (which wasn't an issue for me). The entrance to the apartment is quite small with limited room for the kettle, micowave, coffee machine and a small table. There are no views from the windows.

Accommodation was really nice and neat. All small details that owner leave for guests are really useful when you travel all day. Everything that you need for short stay is there. Even coffee cups with different tastes,small shampoo (that we forgot to bring 🙄) and of course towels. Definitely we would come back again.

This is an exceptional property in a beautiful old building. The room had such character and charm, beautifully finished. The shower was powerful, and the bed was comfortable. The room had air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. The location is perfect , just off a small square which has nice restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again. A+++

Really nothing. There is no parking, but I knew that in advance, and the owner provided two nearby options within walking distance.

We loved the room, so much atmosphere and really nice decor. It feels cozy and taken care of. Very clean, lot's of nice extra's: a small fridge, plates, cups, cutlery, coffee machine with plenty of coffee, kettle and biological tea, just really nice and very good value for money. The steps from the parking to the house were not as bad as I envisioned them. Parking was very spacious with plenty spots available and also cheap (you don't pay from 7pm until 9am but we arrived earlier so had to pay. Good thing is you can pay forward to the next day so you don't have to be at the machine at 9am but can pay up until 11 and sleep in - I think a total of five hours cost us Euro 3,50). Very central for restaurants and shops and the square and church are beautiful. Breakfast is not included anymore, but there is a lovely boulangerie not too far from the house. We received the code to get in and were absolutely fine with not having someone there to wait for us; messages we sent were answered very swiftly so communication was perfect.

As in the center and close to restaurants and bars, people walk over the small square to get home and can be loud at times. My partner didn't sleep super good because of this. The toilet having a sliding door only and the shower being in the room you have to feel comfortable enough with your travel partner. The floorboards are very squeaky, logical but something to take into consideration with light sleepers.

Lovely little room in the heart of Valence. Perfect for a biking trip.

Can’t remember too much about the description but we were expecting a room and it has a microwave and fridge and was very spacious. If you were expecting a big apartment it’s not like that.

The location was amazing; just around the corner from the main square in the old district, and shopping and many restaurants. The apartment was perfect, with a comfortable bed. Our bikes were securely stored. The owner quickly responded to our messages.

Adorable accommodation right in the center of old town. It's a no car zone and very peacful so you can have a good night sleep. 10 min away is a beautiful park and the center with all you can need. Parking is 1 min away, free i think from 19:00 to 9:10

Very good location in the center of Valence next to the cathedral and museum of Valence. Secure bicycle storage in locked room. Very close to numerous good restaurants.

Check in is via messaging app to get the door code and access to the key. There may be nobody on site to help. This is a B&B apartment in an older building with no lift so for those challenged by stairs, be aware.

Value for the money was spectacular. Convenient walking location to most places in old town (Vieux Valence).

Walking to or from the property after dark is a bit scary as the air is not well lit and the walk from the most convenient parking is very isolated.
